Omg, I just watched the ending with Brad sitting there eating his sandwich, watching Jesse propose to Deanna. He takes a couple of bites, then switches the channel to some sports show. Made me chuckle. He does have a sense of humor about himself. I just can't blame him for not choosing either of the girls. If you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it. I think it showed him relieved that now Deanna would be off his back and he could move on with his life.
I still think Trista and Ryan's little boy is just beyond adorable! They sure seem happy. I'm glad for them.

I read somewhere (months ago) that the producers wanted to do that closing shot of Brad at the end of his season, but ABC put the kabosh on it.
I am also happy for Trista & Ryan & cute lil' Max in Vail.

Do we think there might be a Bachelor show coming sooner than expected?
Here's what ABC is saying:
ABC is doing their dog and pony show (aka Live Press Tour) to promote their fall shows. Here's what ABC president, Steve McPherson had to say re: The Bachelor - from EW:
"Just because The Bachelor isn’t on the fall schedule doesn’t mean that the net has given up on the (aging) franchise. “Casting is critical,” he says. “We want to make sure we don’t put it on and then find the guy. It’s also an advantage that we don’t need it (for fall).”
They also put out casting calls today for the women and men for the next show. They're recruiting until August 5th in OH, NC, and WA.
Please note Washington state on the recruiting schedule.

Just came from the ABC party at the Beverly Hilton, which was chock-full of stars -- but I made a beeline for The Bachelor host Chris Harrison.
Will Jason Mesnick be the next Bachelor? America needs to know!
"We would be bona fide idiots not to consider him for the show," Chris told me. "He's on my short list." He added that if it happens, "[Jason's son] Ty would have to take center stage" and hinted that that could mean filming in Jason's hometown of Seattle. Chris and his wife even offered to baby-sit: "We have two kids, Ty would fit right in."
Chris said that Bachelor finalist Jeremy Anderson is also in the running. Yesterday, ABC Entertainment President Steve McPherson told critics that The Bachelor is not on the network's fall schedule because they're still searching for the right guy.
Meantime, Chris had just gotten off the phone with Bachelor couple Jesse and DeAnna before arriving at the party. "They're in Ohio with Jesse's family," he said.

I thought it was said she was in real estate, but I also heard she was a bartender. I think Jesse has the money to support their lifestyle right now. She probably does not have to work again if she so chooses.

I heard Jason is throwing out the first pitch at the Mariners' game this Tuesday night.
If I did not have to pick my sister up at SeaTac Airport Tuesday night, I would drag my husband to the game.  We usually go to a few of their games each year, but this one happens to be against the Red Sox and I am from Boston, so it would be an excellent game to see. All for naught though.

I just read that Jeremy is dating Chelsea. Anyone know if it's the same Chelsea from Bach. London? if this is the case, how can he be the next Bachelor 
It was in last week's US weekly and he said everything was going well.

I went last year to a game in Seattle versus the Red Sox. I loved it!! I am a Sox fan and was please with how many of us there were. This year I miss them!! I get there this Saturday.

Carlpsmom, I watched part of the game vs. the Red Sox tonight -- just for a couple of innings. While I live just south of Seattle, I am originally from Boston, so I have a hard time switching allegiance to Seattle teams when the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics or Bruins are playing.

Danzdol, I just read somewhere the other day that Jeremy and Chelsea have cooled it. Don't know whether this is fact or rumor.

US weekly has the happy couple washing a car saying it's all good so far and wedding is on. Same tidbit that they are enjoying doing the boring things in life together.
