I was so stunned by last night's eliminations that I actually forgot there was an elimination show tonight! Came here to see who else was eliminated. I am again stunned that Lindsey is still there!!!
Since I don't care for either singer on Christina's team, that leaves just Erin and Jermaine to root for--especially Jermaine. But if the other two judges don't do better with their elimination choices, I don't know if my interest will come back.

Re the elimination by judges: I think it should be left as an OPTION for the judges if singing is not up to par, otherwise leave it alone for the audience members. As far as I am concerned, this didn't work very well and cost them a viewer tonight.

Sooooooooooo glad Raelyn is gone. Thank you Blake. You finally woke up. We may start watching again now that she is finally gone.

Finally watched last night's show and...

Based on the performances by Ashley and Lindsey, Christina made the right choice in my opinion. Ashley just screeched her way through most of that song, and really ruined it. I'm glad she's gone.

And based on the performances by Erin and Raelynn, Blake made the right choice in my opinion. Adam said it... he would have asked her to tone down her "inflections" had he been her coach. The way she pronounced words with that fake twang was gawdawful. Erin really did much better.

And except for the Bieber interlude, I'm glad that the children are off of this show. I enjoy this show much more because of the fact that it's not a bunch of teenagers, and now that the last two are out on those two teams, I'm really happy.

Now next week, I hope both Pip and Mathai leave Adam's team (really? PIP????). And on Cee Lo's team, both Cheesa and James can leave. Especially James, please, who really cannot sing.

But all in all... YIPPEE!!! That Raelynn child is GONE! Thank you thank you thank you!! (Maybe Blake finally read what the rest of the world is thinking, on Twitter, and realized the votes were manipulated last week!)

Adam hit the nail on the head. Get rid of the voice inflections and she'd be much better.

I think that Blake really takes Adam's suggestions to heart. In the past, it seems like he goes with what Adam has said. Only once, that I can remember, has he gone against Adam.

Maybe Adam will release Pip and Ceelo release James when they get to chose who goes forward on the first night.

Raelynn so reminds me of the little girls doing "skits" in beauty contests! So glad that child is GONE. And yes, I am a big county music fan. But her fake voice and childish movements made me want to crawl into a vat of vodka. The girl has many years a head of her to grow up and become a "good" country singer.

Raelyn was interesting to watch as it dawned her that Blake was going to use her song choice, as suggested by Adam, to boot her.

That was the point when I saw that she was just too immature to be on this type of a show. She really had such a giant ego and didn't ever think she'd be booted off.

And I'm not so sure it was her song choice, as her choice in how to sing that song.

One thing that I was happy about with Raelynn was she stopped wearing the red lipstick that was all over her face after she sang. She did look much prettier with the lighter makeup.

She wore red lipstick on Monday's show, didn't she?

I think I understand why Christina let Jesse go (and I think the exposure will do him good in the future). I'm still not so sure about Jordis other than the lameass excuse Blake gave of her being in the bottom 3. If you discount the VFTW votes that the Raelynn girl got, I doubt Jordis was really in the bottom.

While I love Jordis and wish she was still there, I'm quite happy that Raelynn IS GONE!

sorta makes you wonder if Raelynn would have fared better with a different coach (but i'm still glad she's gone)

I think Raelynn would've been gone sooner with another coach. I did hear Blake tell her to tone things down several times and she never did. She just did what she wanted to do because people kept telling her "how great" she is. Her ego wouldn't let her understand that the fake inflections did NOT represent "country" and the "adorable stomp" was only so the first time you saw it.

I think she would've still done everything exactly the same but she would've been axed by another coach much sooner. Like during a battle round.

I don't really get many of the choices made on this show all season. I watched Monday and was shocked by the Jordis elimination. But even before that I thought that no one really sounded great. They were all just ok.

Then I caught the last 15 minutes of Idol Wednesday night. All I heard were the recaps of each singer at the end of the show and immediately thought to myself that every one of those singers were heads above the Voice singers. They just haven't made the right choices all season. I haven't seen Idol all season, but in 5 minutes of clips I could see there's a huge difference in talent between the shows. I wonder why that is.

I agree......I think that most of the remaining AI singers are in a league above the Voice singers as well. Any of the AI top 7 would have still been there on the Voice IMO. Skylar/Raylynn - no comparison if you like female country singers. Colton/James - no comparison if you're trying to reach the teen girls. I could go on.......

Not sure if they'd still be there though. And the reason I say that is because the judges seem to be kicking off the good ones and keeping the bad (e.g., Jordis).

It's funny because I was so impressed with the talent on The Voice's first season and how they seemed better and fresher than AI. However, I agree it has totally turned around this year with the talent on AI being much better (especially among those left). Strange.

I loved the Voice starting out, and I had never seen it before. But right now i am disenchanted. I agree with those who say the wrong ones are being eliminated. The best performance so far was the battle round with Tony Vincent and the other young father. Gave me the shivers and moved the judge to tears. Now both of them are gone.

Of Blakes and christina's, I only have Jermaine left to root for, and I shudder that on Monday the judges will make some more poor elimination choices. PLEASE let Tony L. be gone.

I understand how the judges made some of their initial choices (diversity and all that), but I do NOT understand how the judges are eliminating some fan faves. For gawd's sake, Jordis was #1 on iTunes the week she was in the bottom 3. The fact that VFTW was throwing their weight behind the bratty child that was Raelynn shows how voting can be skewed, but how people will talk with their money. I'm not sure what the heck the judges are thinking this year. I do agree that those eliminated now (Jesse, for example), could possibly benefit more from the exposure than from a contract. What's his face (last season's winner) hasn't done diddly with his win.

I'm waiting to see tonight's performances. As of this moment, I still think it's Cee Lo's to lose, but we'll see who he kicks off with his instant elimination. I do not think Adam has a winner left on his team. And of those left with Blake and Xtina, I'm not so sure they've got winners left either.

Anyways, please let Pip go home tonight! (I'm hoping that Adam loses him on the instant elimination, and I think I may be right based on Adam's expression last week when he found out Pip was safe.)
