She's probably aiming for a diet/exercise show. No way was that done naturally. No stretch marks? And evidently the doctor performed an amazing c/section to deliver 8 babies, since the scar must be extremely low.

She also swore that she kept getting pregnant because she could not discard or give away the frozen embryos and when her doctor was brought up before the board, it came out that she used FRESH embryos, newly created, each time she got pregnant (6 pregnancies carried to term and some miscarriages) and that the frozen embryos are still.. frozen. Lied over and over about that. I doubt she could look like that after 5 pregnancies and twins. let alone octuplets. And it must have been an awfully neat little c-section scar, too.

It's really easy to airbrush out the scars. Agree that there's no way she didn't have surgery.

If this woman told me the sun was out, I'd go to the window and check. It would likely be nighttime. I wouldn't believe a word she says. I just hope Child Services is keeping an eye on her kids.

I am glad to see all 8 babies celebrate their first birthday! I agree with above post, too!

Wow those babies look huge for a year, having been micro premies.. but I'm definitely not an expert on babies.. Interesting that she got blonde babies with straight hair this time when the father was supposedly the same as for her other kids, who have dark curly hair (dad and Nadya both having dark hair). The babies in the pic are cute.

The babies in the middle/furthest from the photographer look smaller. I imagine they are all about the same size. I am relieved to see them all. I hope they are all healthy and happy and that the other 6 children are too. I can't imagine that they are all happy though. I hope they are being well cared for. I have great fears that they aren't.

As I recall there was a set of twins? Or, I guess two sets of twins were at least claimed.. from Wikipedia: [edit] Names The children carry their biological father's last name of Solomon.[2] The babies' names, gender and birth weight in birth order are:[2][3][4] Noah Angel Solomon - male; 2 lbs 8 oz Maliyah Angel Solomon - female; 2 lbs 2 oz Isaiah Angel Solomon - male; 3 lbs 1 oz Nariyah Angel Solomon - female; 2 lbs 3 oz Makai Angel Solomon - male; 1 lbs 12 oz Josiah Angel Solomon - male; 2 lbs 9 oz Jeremiah Angel Solomon - male; 1 lb 13 oz Jonah Angel Solomon - male; 2 lbs 7 oz Two sets of identical (monozygotic) twins (Maliya & Nariya and Jeremiah & Makai) are claimed among the octuplets due to division of two of six transferred embryos. The boy twins seem to have been smallest at birth but they could easily have caught up. And one set seems to be the girls, so they might be smaller by now

Well, she made today's local paper here, no picture, buried in the local section.. Octuplets celebrate first birthday quietly Lou Ponsi, Orange County Register La Habra - A bouquet of balloons - six blue and two pink - was delivered to the home of Nadya Suleman Tuesday, the first birthday of the world's longest-living octuplets. Suleman gave birth to six boys and two girls, each weighing less (than) three pounds, on Jan 26, 2009. The mother was planning to keep the birthday festivities low-key with her octuplets and six older children, said her attorney, Jeff Czech. A larger party, which included extended family and friends of the older chilren was held Sunday. Youngsters frolicked in a bounce house, and the octuplets smeared their hands and faces in the birthday cake. "They had a blast," Czech said. "They are really starting to get around." One of the octuplets is walking, he said. The family is starting to outgrow the four-bedroom home, and Suleman would like to move, Czech said. However, Czech said money is tight for Suleman, and he wouldn't speculate on when she would move. "She is doing her best," he said. "The octo-van is falling apart, and there are lots of expenses." Czech said he is negotiating with a production company for what he calls a documentary - as opposed to a reality show. =========== Grr.. I bet he's one of her bigger "expenses" and for a low key celebration who needs an attorney or anyone else to make an announcement. And of course she seems to have posed for a photographer with more than the reported "modest" collection of just 8 balloons, so PFFT!

Yep, that is the only important thing.. lots of unfortunate things, but if the babies are indeed healthy, huge huge plus. Happy, hsrd to think it will last, given the affect shown by the older kids, but if the babies are healthy, they have that to build on.

How old is the van? Didn't she get it brand new? Anyway, at least the kids look happy and healthy.
