Cricket, on the two bottles of diet I looked at, they both had a different one. One had aspartame and the other had sucralose.

Cricket, did you mean on all snapple diet products in general, or in particular Bret's? Bret's says aspartame on the label.

Well darn, I guess I won't buy Bret's Snapple. Aspertame is terrible stuff and I won't drink or eat anything that contains that. Lots of people have trouble Aspertame.

Naja, I meant on all Snapple. I can't tolerate Aspertame, so I guess I won't be drinking their diet drinks. I'm not sure if sucralose is the same as aspertame or not, but sucralose is not splenda, which I can tolerate in small amounts. I can't believe Aspertame is still being used in this day and age, especially if Snapple is wanting to update their product. Thank you for the info.

Aspertame should be banned. It is even in lite ice cream!

Splenda is sucralose (and dextrose and maltodextrin) according to the ingredients list on the box.

Hmm, guess I never actually posted earlier. I basically try to avoid artificial sweeteners.

I was disappointed to read it's aspertame...the one I'm allergic to. I can tolerate it in small amounts but try not to. I've given up almost everything with it in it, except the MUCH needed occassional Diet 7up. Then again I should check the label. The last one I had tasted just awful lol. All that said, I had planned to try a 6 pack of Bret's. Think now I'll look to try a bottle. Anyone know if the stores sell them individually? I know some Snapple is, but not sure how this is being marketed.

Prisoner6 stated: Splenda is sucralose (and dextrose and maltodextrin) according to the ingredients list on the box. I didn't realize that, Prisoner06. I guess if I see some at the supermarket with sucralose then, I might try a bottle. I'm moving to Stevia to make my own lemonade and use as a sweetner. I hope some soda company starts using it.

I know my comments are way late to the party. But I didn't get a chance to see the finale till this morning. I was a fan of Holly's up until seeing her on this show. Her behavior throughout the season has left a seriously bad taste in my mouth. Her digs at Diabetes (by insinuating Autism was more prominent) was tacky at best. If one of her children had Diabetes, I'm betting she'd sing a different tune. I also hated her digs at the other Celebrities and them leaving the show, or for having to fulfil other commitments during the course of the show. I'm convinced she brought in her mother's breast cancer diagnosis to try and garner some of the sympathy vote away from Brett. Something else came to mind while watching the finale. Another celebrity (I think it was Michael Jordan) also played for an autism charity. For some reason it struck me at that moment that the other celebrities would be turning money over to a charity that would be overseen by someone else. Holly's winnings are being turned over to her own charity to be overseen basically by herself. For some reason that seems a little....off to me. Hopefully her charity is set up so other people can keep a careful eye on how the money is spent. I will say that I do like that she pointed out how her family didn't want for anything, and that she was playing more for those families who don't have the resources her family have. Some have pointed out how juvenile Maria was to make that comment about Curtis. Well, Trump did push the issue on why she had a distaste for him. Sure, she could have worded it better than saying he "took a crap." But Trump asked for it. And it can leave a lasting impression when someone with a gastric problem comes into a small close-quartered room and leaves the room filled with the tell-tale aroma of that problem. I speak from experience on that one, though it wasn't about bathroom habits. As for Trump. Well, the only reason I even bring up the Maria issue is to compare it to Trump's comments on Holly and her "baby making dress," saying her husband is a very lucky man, and commenting how its no wonder they have so many children. Trump fires Maria for a bathroom comment, but practically ruts over Holly on live TV. Personally, I found his comments far more offensive than anything Maria said.

Who...wasn't it Bret that called that a "baby making dress" and made the kids comments? Then accused her in a playful way, of playing the dress card to win. Far be it from me to EVER defend Trump from anything, but I do think Bret said it, but in a fun, playful way. I also think Maria should have had the common sense to find another way to answer that question if she had ANY idea of what is appropriate to say on TV or not. I'm sure Trump was pushing looking for some idiotic fight...not Poopgate lol ITA about her charity. That is a TON of money. I'd love to know how much of her foundation's funds goes to administrative costs vs directly to the charity. That is ALWAYS my question before I donate or work for any charity. If they won't show me, they lose me!

OK, its still on OnDemand, so I replayed it. You're right, Brett said it. I stand corrected. Why is it that it that it is a little less offensive coming from Brett? LOL. I guess its just cause I'm used to Trump's lewd leering habits, and if it had been him saying it, it would have been totally inappropriate and downright gross. The first time around, I was more listening than watching. This time I watched, and saw Bret's "playfulness" as he commented, and Holly's reaction to it. She seemed to take it in good stride too. I guess that makes me a bit of a hypocrite to be less offended by Brett saying it than Trump.

The difference may be that in this situation Trump is in a position of power whereas Bret is just one of the contestants.

OK Lurk I had to google - I was curious http://www.guidestar.org/pqShowGsReport.do?partner=amex&ein=95-4642588 this was the first site that popped up - but the assets etc was from 2000 on her website is a plan for the building they are raising funds for - I think she has raised awareness (even prior to the Apprentice) about trying to pull the most out of an autistic child - some of the treatments were radical (change of diet type radical, very hard to stick to a strict diet, but there is some evidence I've read that it has made a difference)

Good work Reader...now if only we had one from this year!! Or near it. Back then the admin costs seem reasonable BUT they hardly earned any money. I want to know the Admin costs today!!! And LOL Who, I think the main difference is that Bret is a nice guy, with a natural funny & kind teasing nature, who had a nice rapport with Holly. Trump. Well, let's just say NOT Bret!!
