Tnt, when you are on the Around the World site, you can click on the "Like" below Jeff's picture. (It has a thumb up beside it.) This will link it to your Facebook likes. It will not help you at all with the video episodes. All it does is take you to the same place the link on this page does. If I can figure out how to get to the archived videos, I'll let you know. I found a very complicated way to access one of them, but it has to be easier than that!

Have you been able to watch them yet? Try this link and see how it works. It'll take you to the map that has the blue pulsing dot that represent Jeff's current location. On the bottom of the page click on Browse Journeys, you'll get a lineup of all the videos they have up. http://cbsaroundtheworld.com/#/journey/in-the-bayou

You're welcome, Tnt. I am having a problem getting the videos to play in Opera and IE. I'll try them in Firefox today.

I was able to watch Boston (Day 6) and DC (Day 7). After that clicking on the link stopped offering me "Browse Journeys!" I will now try the link at the top of the page instead of the one just above -

Who is Mike? Jeff bumped into Mike and his (Mike's) wife in the Tokyo airport. In the last episode - which I haven't viewed yet - Jeff goes to visit them. Is Mike the guy who did this last year?

Mike is one of Jeff's hosts in Japan. Mike introduced Jeff to Tai at the airport upon Jeff's arrival in Japan. Jeff stayed with Tai and his family for a few days and then met up with Mike on the second half of his stay in Japan. Mike also took Jeff on the Mt. Fuji climb. Here are the Mike videos on cbs.com/world. Day 23 http://tinyurl.com/2dt4jap Day 24 http://tinyurl.com/24xya8d (Mt. Fuji climb)

Thanks for your explanation, Chere! I thought I remembered that Jeff met Tai - holding a sign - at the airport BEFORE he ran into Mike. Lordy, how I miss my mind! Also thanks for the latest links - TVCHer's rock!

Jeff's experience helping with an agency that gave out water filtration systems to the Cambodians brought back wonderful memories of my trip up the Unene River in Brazil distributing school and first aid supplies to the Indian villages along the river! Best working vacation of my life!

can someone please explain this show to me. I have not watched... I really like Jeff.. and think I would like to watch him traveling and meeting people around the globe. But I don't understand the premiss. Does Jeff go from town to town and beg for food, clothing and shelter while trying to figure how he is going to bum a ride to the next town? I just remember a few years back when Amazing Race took the funds away from some racers and they stood on the street corner and begged... I didn't think it made American's look too good.

Jeff is making his connections on line and via message boards. While he has stayed in some fairly humble accomodations, his travel (air, train, bus) tickets have been provided by people who appear to be to be fairly affluent and wishful of helping him along his way. He does NOT beg on the streets! He posts asking where he should go next, and people make suggestions, offer hospitality, donate transportation. I am really enjoying the show -

Thanks Tntitan... I just watched a couple of "episodes" online. I really like Jeff. One of those guys who can get along with most anyone, Is there an "episode" a day? what channel is it on? the online seems as if each episode is maybe 10 minutes long... are they a full 1/2 hour? How do they figure Jeff is going "around the world"? Is he traveling wherever his travels take him for a set period? or does he have a general route which will span the globe? How does he have "fans" in other parts of the world? If I hadn't watched BB I would never be interested in his travels...

There are about 30 episodes up for forty-something days. Most episodes are 6-8 minutes long. As far as I know, it is only available online. He left from Chicago and is now in SE Asia. The whole trip is to take 100 days. It seems like he takes the suggestions sent to him for the next place(s) to visit - I think BB USA and TAR are both broadcast internationally, or perhaps people follow them online? Thanks for giving Jeff a chance to charm you!
