I did not see Buddy or Mark, not that I wanted to see them, but I thought they were going to be onstage. Did I miss something? I sure was pulling for Kim, too bad Jeremy won. Don't think Conda did as well as she should have.

Alledgedly the next season won't start/air until 2013. There is absolutely NO WAY they should let a quitter on the finale stage let alone attend imo. ymmv.

I was pulling for Kim but since she looked tall compared to Conda and even Jeremy losing more than half her weight would not have been all that healthy. Jeremy was so huge he NEEDED to lose that much or more. Pfft. The production was horrible. The scripted crap they gave Allison was cringe-worthy much of the time and she seemed really manic.. but then she did have to shout over the crowd at times.. Glad to put this one behind me.

i think they are glad to put this season behind them too. have fallen behind on the episodes but i've felt conda and jeremy were controlling the show since beginning. he's young and he's huGe. i really dontunderstand why anyone would have kept him around...unless he never was the lowest. or in bottom two. i think that BL has to change up its format, either everyone is around the same starting weight...or NOT. this variation of body weight makes it quite predictable whom likely will make it to end.

I bet we don't see too much of Jeremy. He'll be ignored. We see tons of Ali because she was so popular.

I was hoping Kim would win. She looked great. Have to admit that it looked like Jeremy worked hard while he was gone from the ranch. Conda still looks big.

I've only watched a few of the shows this season so I've been relying on the discussion here to fill in the gaps. I was surprised at how successful, motivated and dedicated Jeremy appeared in the last couple of episodes. I knew he was big and had the potential to lose a lot of weight but I was under the impression that he would never be able to get it together and do it. He worked hard to win that challenge to get into the final three and he must have worked hard at home. He certainly seems to be a deserving winner in that sense.

No doubt that Jeremy deserved his win - he has lost an amazing amount of weight - but let's face it - he had the easiest journey of the final 3. He is single, apparently lives at home (i.e., probably didn't have to work) and has no children who take time away from the goal of exercising. Both the others were (okay, big collective groan here) single parents, and despite the fact that I am sure they had help that is still a distracting and stressful factor. But I can't blame Jeremy for the way the game is set up. Sure would like to hear his thoughts on the walkout now...if it wasn't for that particular competition he might not have been in final 3.

On Jeremy's behalf I will suggest that he probably would have been a more popular player had it not been for his sister. I am interested in finding out how much weight each person lost 1) at the ranch 2) at home 3) the time each player spent at each of those locations. Probably dig that up at the official website or going through the postings here. If I ever find the time to do it, will let you all know. Hope next season is singles! I also liked the idea of separating the trainers completely until the half-way mark. That would be a better gauge of who trains better, who motivates better, etc. But for that to be of any value they would have to actually let us (viewers) in on what the really do and eat all day and I don't see that happening.

I think everyone looked great, and I think Jeremy definitely deserves props for winning! Obviously, he has an addiction to food or he would not have gotten as heavy as he did. He has done a tremendous job, single or not. He has changed his life forever. Even if he gains the weight back (which I hope he does not), he still has this life-changing moment to look back on, and it is definitely life changing!

Does anyone remember in one of the first episodes, Mike called Jeremy "Tank" as he was walking up to weigh in, and Conda threw a fit and said she didn't like him, thus he was voted out the next week or two. Anyhow, I think it's funny how it came down to the two of them battling it out at the final weigh in before the finale.

I'll bet Mark and Buddy felt really stupid last night and are glad that it's all over. I'm proud of them all!

If anyone is interested, there are exit interviews on NBC.com of the contestants and trainers. You can hear Bob and Dolvett's reactions to the season, instead of guessing from the coverage that was provided on the show.

Being single, no outside distractions, etc still does not get you to the gym. You have to be truly motivated and for that Jeremy deserved the win. He looks like he did a lot of work at home. He was the biggest shock to me! Kim looked fantastic but Conda still has a long way to go. I'm sure Jeremy will give her half his winnings, if not more and that disturbs me. I'm glad they never showed the quitters!!

If he gives her half his winning, he will have to pay taxes on the whole amount and gift her whatever he gives her. In effect, the tax issues that arise if he 'gives' her half will be messy.

Where was Joe ??? Did he quit as well early on.? Must confess I missed the first few episodes. BTW Ever so happy Conda did not win. Never did like that "gimmi attitude just cuz I am a single Mom" . Kim looked great, Jeremy did well but still has a belly & Conda has a long way to go. JMHO

Yes, Joe was Mike's partner (half brother I believe but they didn't grow up together). He left like the first or second week because he missed his family.

I would think that Jeremy's belly has to do with the extra skin that still remains unless you do plastic surgery. You can't get rid of flabby skin without surgery.

I guess I was always put off by Jeremy's overly large and dark nipples...glad when they quit leeting them be shirtless. I don't think Kim and Dolvett have anything going on...if I remember correctly I think it would be much more likely that Bob and Dolvett have something going on...but I might be getting Dolvett and the other trainer from a couple of seasons ago mixed up.

Kim and Dolvett both live in the Atlanta area - Dolvett's studio is in Buckhead, and Kim lives in Roswell, just north of there. Both very good areas. I actually thought last night when I was watching the finale that if they did end up getting together, it would be the most interesting thing from this season!! And LOL at Roxip - I agree with your nipple comment.... ew... nipples.

Oh, I need to take that comment about Dolvett back...I have gone online and looked and I think that I am getting Dolvett and the male trainer before him (the Kara and Alex? season) mixed up. So sorry! I thought Kim looked amazing. Not to sound weird or anything but she had a great body...her legs were toned, it didn't look like she had to have on a corset that totally cinched her in like most contestants...she might have had on an undergarment but she by no means looked "stuffed" into it like happens so many times. I also agree that if she had lost as much weight as it would have taken to win the competition she would have been way too thin.

What is called "shapewear" today was called a girdle in the olden days. Call a spade a spade. No thanks. I gave those up years ago.

There were all kinds of girdles. Girdles were the shapewear of yesteryear.

Corsets were worse, so said both grandmothers.. I think the last gasp for girdles was the arrival of panty hose.

Kim looked great. I thought most of them did. Good for all of them. My biggest shock was Roy. He looks SO much better with a shorter beard etc. Much better and much younger! I felt he and Chris were both kind of depressed for most of the season. At the finale, they both looked great and looked happy and like they felt great. That is what I was happiest about besides that they all lost a lot of weight. I did hope Chism would have lost more though. I agree with Rissa: On Jeremy's behalf I will suggest that he probably would have been a more popular player had it not been for his sister.

Apparently Buddy baptized Megan and Conda at the ranch and Jeremy bought buddy a minivan.

I hope Jeremy paid his taxes up front; sounds like that money won't last long in (and out of) his hands.
