We're already to jury members? That must mean we have a 3 person finale?

The reason they kept Michael was because he is a member of their ice cream eating team. They are all supposedly safe until the other team has completely been sent packing.

Yes, there is at least one professional chef at Ponderosa. However, almost all chefs welcome other chefs to make their specialities -

Speaking of Ponderosa, here are the clips of Jonas:

Part 2 shows him preparing a crab dish.

Ugh, if Jonas is on the Jury, then that means Alicia will be too. And Mr Poopy Pants. I'd rather not see either one of their rants come jury time.

I don't remember JP saying the Jury was starting already. But then, I think I missed a lot of this with all the interruptions I got last night (which is why I saved it to watch again).

and people actually let him have at them.

LOL! Holly, maybe you weren't even trying to be funny, but that struck me as absolutely hilarious! LOL!

(Scary thought though, seriously. I agree with you.)

Happymom, I wasn't trying to be funny, but glad I gave you a laugh :-). He's such an odd bird, to say the least, isn't he?

I was very surprised to see we are at jury members already too.

Maybe absence really does make the heart grow fonder because in my memory, I liked Phillip of the pink panties a lot more than I like Tarzan. Tarzan and the whole dirty pants talk was absolutely disgusting. I thought Chelsea handled it well by not absolutely screaming at him. She remained calm. He must be very hard to live with. And he is super irritable.

It may get him far in the game though. But he is a very unreliable alliance member, so, maybe not. But maybe. I don't think anyone up against him in the finals would lose to him.

Smart of the women (or at least some of them) to be playing both sides.

Leif's terrible performance in the RC may keep him around longer. I wonder whose dumb idea it was to have him go first? And going under the pole on his stomach face first? Very bad idea. bodies don't bend like that! (I was kind of frustrated with him while watching that last night.) Haven't they already had a challenge where they dig in the sane under a pole? And he only dug with one hand! He is the sole reason they lost that challenge.

If they had won, Troy would not have found the HII. (or, at least, most likely he wouldn't have found it)

If they had won, Troy would not have found the HII.

How so? I'm missing the connection...I got distracted by a phone call during the show last night so missed quite a bit.

Holly, only the team that won the reward got the note about there being another HII. So if Leif's team had won it, Troy would not have known about the idol so would not have been looking for it.

Thank you for posting the Ponderosa clips! Fun to watch! Jonas is such a nice guy. Did I hear correctly when he was voted out that he said to Tarzan "No hard feelings." and Tarzan replied, "Yes, Hard Feelings."?

Jonas is enjoying himself so much I almost hope the next person voted out is not one of the obnoxious ones so Jonas can continue to enjoy his time at Ponderosa.

Yes, Roblover, Tarzan was a horses rear end when Jonas tried to be nice about it. Makes it easier to take him to the end cause no one would vote for him.

I think he suffers from Surgeon's mentality. It's a "king of the world" outlook that they are absolutely amazing creatures who can do no wrong, who cure people with their scapels, and are the top doc in patient care. Yes, there are some exceptions to this, but they are usually the younger MDs. Old school doctors were taught by older school docs who pass down this "holier than thou" doctrine while in the Operating Rooms.
Not necessarily saying this is the case with Tarzan, but......

Thanks, Konamouse. I thought maybe I had heard Tarzan wrong because I could not imagine someone being that rude for really no reason. You are right about the "surgeons' mentality". I know one cannot generalize, and you were not, but when I worked in a surgery unit years ago, I did notice the personality traits Tarzan is exhibiting more often than not.

Tarzan is a surgeon? And here I was thinking he was just an old hippie who had taken one too many hits back in the day.

I do surgeries, albeit on animals.

It is a skill anyone can learn but it takes years of education and training.

A surgeon who thinks he is a superior person will someday come face to face with reality.

And I am sure, Dogdoc, that you treat your patients and their pet parents with far more compassion and caring than Tarzan shows for his.
