EMail done, socials done enough, LOL. Then I went to spend my OTC money from Kaiser and apparently that got taken away this year, $240 free money, which doesn't surprise me but was very hard to find out.
So I had to go buy my joint supplements from Target, I think they were cheaper, LOL.
And I finished up my ballot ... amazingly there are 63 people for Governor, I don't think I have ever seen that many before, Now I have to figure out where to drop off my ballot so the post office doesn't lose it.
Oh, I did my Lazyfit exercises!! I am trying for 30 days in a row, so DAY 1 - done.

It's Clean you Car/Purse Day AND time to shine the tub and sink and wipe down the washer/dryer.
I did the usual kitchen cleanup, fed the kitties and grabbed some yogurt and the paper.

Dragged the laundry into the house, it is amazing how heavy clothes can be. It is on my chore list for today to put all of them away and load up the bag with the dirty sheets.
Also need to sweep the kitchen, when I got rid of the flowers yesterday a bunch of babys breath fell on the floor.
I got thru most of the paper and initial computer games. Now I need to do my lazyfit before I get to play Arrow Out. I can't believe I am following Biebers' practice of chores for games, LOL.
I am sore from yesterdays lazyfit but on we go.

DAY 2 Lazyfit done!! I am amazed at how out of shape I can get so quickly. Looking forward to better balance, stamina and strength. These arm exercises are hard for me, LOL.
Now I can play my game.

Saturday .... A day for fun ...
Got the kitchen cleaned up, did the litter boxes and got Sylvester his 2 pills and apology Churu. So I am working on email and a Safeway order before I put away the laundry and hit the showers.
Off to email.

Got the laundry all put away, dustbusted the bathroom, showered, brewed some Coffee and did my Lazyfit exercise. Now I can play Arrow Out!
DAY 3 is done!! Yeah. Oh, I did a Safeway order and I am going to go down to dinner tonight to see what is going on in The Bistro.
Not sure what other chores will be done but I feel good that I am making progress on everything.

Sunday ... a day to reflect and relax.
Oh I forgot to report back yesterday about the Bistro. It was a disaster, apparently our chef has departed with no notice or information so yesterday there was no manager and no servers.
They called in a Manager who used to work here but got promoted to another facility and she had to ask her daughters to come and help her. Since the "acting manager" didn't do a thing to help it was a basic nightmare. And our residents are "stupid" and can't read the room if their lives depended on it, so they made things worse by being demanding. I swear I want to make all the residents attend an etiquette training and I want someone to tell them the world does not revolve around them. That is not included in their rent.
A temporary chef, Karen, will be here on Monday, so now I am going down to brunch to see how that goes, LOL.

Crap, I just lost a long post. I guess Sonia abandoned her job, never called back to explain what was happening. And supposedly she didn't know how to order foodstuff, so god only knows what supplies they have in the kitchen.
The menus have been a bit erractic. The TempChef's work for 10 days and then have 4 days off, so Karen will be back Monday to try and sort things out. But we don't seem to have any servers, no one is sure who still works here and who doesn't.
Brunch was good but nothing special this week, just bacon and eggs.
So I got the kitchen cleaned up and the dishwasher running, opened up and sorted 5 boxes of catfood. I don't know how that happened, LOL, I thought I skiped a couple. Won't need any for awhile now.
Then I opened up the other boxes I got, the new comforter, a big box for 2 bottles of pills, and some contact paper. I have my chores for next week all worked out -- change out the bed, put down the contact paper and take out the multitude of boxes I have - most are broken down already.
Now I need to finish reading the paper and play some games. I gave myself permission to skip Sundays on my Lazyfit quest.

My last days of leisurely reading the Sunday newspaper were in San Francisco over 25 years ago. My absolute best days of leisurely reading the Sunday newspaper were in Miami in the early to mid 80's when Carl Hiassen, Dave Barry, and Gene Weingarten were feature writers for the Herald's Sunday Magazine, The Tropic. Two of my (civil prosecution) cases were featured in The Tropic. They were all around my age then.

Dipo, your residents act just like the customers I deal with everyday. It is very exhausting.
Juju, The Tropic was the best. I couldn't believe they killed the golden goose for that paper for no good reason.

It's Home Blessing Day AND we are in the master bedroom, closet and bathroom. Time to clear the top of the dresser, if you have one, I don't, LOL.
Getting a late start but I got a surprise, someone threw up on the bar, and down the bar stool, onto an unopened bag of kibble and then all over the floor. It was quite something.
So I cleaned up the kitchen, loaded the dishwasher, brewed the coffee, scrubbed the sinks and then threw the dishrag over to the office so I could start cleaning it up.
Got that done and then dealt with the litter box and did a bit of dustbusting on the office rug. I think I need to pull out the vac and go over it.
I have on my list ... take out boxes, trash and recycling. Change the sheets and put the new comforter down, do Day 4 Lazyfit and unload dishwasher. So one task is done.
Off to deal with email/socials, then Lazyfit. Oh and I just wrote a little editorial about The Bistro. I will post it below for comments and changes.

My Op Ed piece about The Bistro ...
Have you opened your eyes and looked around lately? The Bistro is having some issues right now, no permanent chef/manager, few servers… Are you part of the problem? Have you treated the servers rudely? Been impatitent. Demanding, acted priviledged and entitled as if the world revolved around you and your needs? where are you going in such a hurry you can’t wait your turn for dinner service?
Try some patience and kindness while the problems get resolved. … Just my Opinion.

Boxes out to the bins, bag of trash and two bags litter. I had been waiting for today because usually the trash men come. But!! the trash chute is full, so I can't take any more trash out, but I can still take the recycling and I have two big boxes to take, didn't have any room on the rollie, LOL.

Opinion on the Op-Ed:
Possibly a tad too harsh on the residents, because they thought they moved in and are paying a LOT (because it is California) to have certain standards met, like reliable food service.
Oh Hell, Dipo, I hope you don't have to take over again.
