Sunday ... a day for reflection and fun before the week starts ...
I got the kitchen cleaned up and the dishwasher is running, brewed the coffee and then opened up the balcony. Took my tablet and sat out there for a while, Nala likes to get in my lap out there - she will sometimes sit in my lap in my office but not very often, and played some games. It was really nice.
Now I just did my Safeway order for a 4pm delivery and I have brunch, then Bingo.
Got the laundry unpacked and put away, and I think most of the house is put back together from Housekeeping yesterday.
Still need to read the Sunday paper, I will do that at brunch, then I think my chores may be all done, will have to check my list.
Off to get ready for brunch, then email/socials.

Bingo was fun, won one game then I got another chewy delivery so I pushed both boxes into the house and got one unpacked - it had the churu, LOL.
While I was gone I did a computer update so now I getting everything back up and working on email/socials.

It's Home Blessing Day AND now we are in the kitchen and time to scrub the stove, including the knobs.
I got the dishwasher unloaded, the kitchen cleaned up, watered the outside plants then scrubbed the Water bucket and refilled it for the kitties.
Did a couple of orders at QVC, they have a Sketchers Sandal that might actually work for me! So now I need a pedicure.
Now I am updating Slyvesters food logs, he wasn't eating much yesterday but he seems back on track today. Also need to repot a plant and do my Lazyfit.
Off to deal with email/socials.

It's Planning Day AND time to clean out the silverware drawer or any other utensil drawer that is ignored most of the time.
I did the usual kitchen clean up, then cleaned the old food out of the fridge and grabbed a sharpie to label/date the stuff left so I don't waste food. Then I bundled it up and took it out to the bins along with some small boxes and other trash.
Now enjoying my coffee and clearing email/socials. I want to pay my rent but Google eliminated the url so I had to email for the address.
It is starting to get hot and I realized that many of my summer tops aren't really cool, so I went and ordered a couple of Susan Graver Liquid Knit tops at QVC. They really are nice and cool when it is hot.
I have a Bingo tonight at 6:30, so need to get busy, I have 172 emails to go dump, LOL.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND time to clean out the fridge!! LOL, I did that yesterday and I don't have any things on my list that have been there for a long time!! So I am good.
I didn't do my Lazyfit yesterday because I got distracted by the fact that my landline cell (that is what I call the one that stays in the house at all times) suddenly didn't show a mobile carrier. It was supposed to be on the Tracfone auto-renewal. So when I tried to access my account online I seemed to be locked out.
Spent a good 45 minutes on the phone with Tracfone straightening it out, and I think I figured out what happened, but somehow my 2nd phone got dropped out of their system. I explained that they were the ones who gave me that number, LOL, but it didn't help. Anyway, both phones are back working properly (I had noticed that my regular cell wasn't ringing but sending all my calls to voicemail) and the cost of them is cheaper than it had been.
So today I have to do my Lazyfit, order some drugs from Kaiser, transfer some money and replant my geraniums.
For now, off to make some coffee, clean up the kitchen then clear email/socials.

Kitchen cleaned up, dishwasher loaded, and coffee is brewed.
I did transfer some money, and I put together a list of things to review with the Manager/Executive Director later today.
Oh, did I mention our Acting Manager/Life Enrichment officer resigned! So I sent her a list of things I wanted her to finish before she goes, LOL.
Back to email and socials.

It's Errand Day (tooo hot for that, LOL) AND time to declutter the plastic, aluminum drawer. Organize and get rid of empty boxes.
Since it is going to be so hot today (already 92, going to 102) I have cleaned up the kitchen and got the dishwasher running, closed the blinds to keep in the cool I have and all the fans are running.
Not much on my list today - just need to clean the bathroom floor and water the inside plants.
Off to email before I grab my paper and yogurt and crawl back into bed (it's coolest in the bedroom).

Got the coffee brewing, and I made extra so I can chill it for tomorrow. Then I realized I don't really have a container for cold coffee so I need to order some Starbucks Cold Brew so I can have nice cold coffee for the summer plus a container so I can make my own.
Sent off a couple of emails and I am working on the remaining 93 in my inbox! Need to finish up my email about the new "security and safety" procedures that have been put in place. Clearly the Executive Admin (to no one) is trying to have power and control so is doing stupid things.
I need to call and set up a pedicure to go with my lab visit next week.
Off to grab some coffee and get busy on my tasks.

Lazyfit Day21 done, all the email done and I sent out my security one, it turned out great.
Got my pedicure scheduled and put in my transport request, followed-up on my request to the "decorator" to get more tables in The Bistro.
And I managed to clear out a bunch of papers, updated my wall calendar and I think all my chores are done.
Oh, I need to put the coffee into the fridge for tomorrow.

It's Clean Your Purse/Car Day AND time to check your cleaning supplies and add any missing things to your list for Errands next week.
Many chores are done - dishwasher unloaded, kitchen clean- started, the dishes are soaking, bathroom floor swept and mopped, shower done, kitty boxes cleaned.
And now I am enjoying my "Cold" coffee that I made yesterday. So yummy on this hot day.
Time to work on email, finish the paper and play some computer games. Oh and I have a bag of stuff I got from my mailbox yesterday that I need to deal with. I know I have 2 QVC packages, I think my new sandals are here!
Off to email/socials.

Saturday ... A day to play ...
Got the kitchen cleaned up and the stinky trash and recycling out to the bins. Then I did a Walmart order, I want one of those light bulbs that come on a dusk and off a dawn - they had a cheap one so I had to figure out some more stuff to get free shipping. T
Then I did a Safeway order, coming at 1pm, my Diet Liter Cherry Pepsi is only $.99 instead of $3.50 !! that was a bonus, so I got six - I should increase it to 10 ... Did it, caught it while I could still edit.
Now watching Tiny Kittenes, one of the older kitties is finally getting a home! Next I will grab the paper and some yogurt and crawl back into bed for awhile since my most important chore - the stinky trash - is done.

Sunday ... a day for rest and reflection ...
We had a power failure at 1:30am, came back at 3:40am, but reminded me I need to get the rest of my power banks powered up and I also need to figure out what I did with the flashlight that is supposed to be in the nightstand. I think it's there but may be buried in the back or something.
Anyway, I cleaned up the kitchen and got the dishwasher running. Today is $5 Bingo after Brunch.
For now email/socials, then back to bed with the Sunday paper.

It's Home Blessing Day AND now we work on the main bathroom and one other room. Time to check the bath for empties and get rid of anything else that should be eslewhere or in the trash.
I have been busy, Sylvester got me up early - well actually it was the time I am supposed to get up every day, LOL. So I got the dishwasher unloaded/reloaded, cleaned up the kitchen, gathered up the trash and a bunch of boxes and took the out to the bins.
I grabbed the rollie and loaded up some flat chewyboxes, the basket of newspapers and I need to pile on the 3 bags of litter so I can roll that out.
But first I am enjoying my cold coffee! I did do a Safeway order earlier which will be here around 2 and I got the Walmart deliveries opened and ready to put away in the bathroom. Pulled out on of the bulbs to put into the balcony light fixture.
Also still need to refill water bottles so I can switch out the brita filters, put away the cat food sitting on the stove and foyer table, and update the food logs for myself and Sylvester.
Oh yeah, I have mail to deal with, need to charge up the power banks I bought that are still in the box they came in and finish writing up the bio piece for the July Newsletter.
I am trying to write something that doesn't really talk about me but the stuff I do. I don't want any of these people to know my personal business, LOL.
Off to work on email/socials. Oh, I did open the blinds today so I can see outside again - the weather is much better.

Email done, first run thru socials done. Cleaned up the cubi so I can move it to the living room, it may never be used again, LOL. I just can't find a place in my office area where it is not in the way of my normal activities.
Working on regular mail while I have a little lunch.

Almost forget to change the timers, I did the living room one and will do the bedroom one when I go back in there. Cubi has been moved to the living room, and I cleaned up the kitchen a bit while I gave Sylvester some more food.
Need to check email and socials and update the food logs so I can toss my notes.

It's Planning Day AND time to shine the tub/shower and in the guest room, is it time to change the sheets?
The big task of the day is done. After I dustbusted the bathroom floor and did some spot mopping I gathered up the 2 bags of litter and stacked them onto the rollie that had the newspapers and 2 other bags of litter and rolled that sucker out to the bins. I am always amazed at how heavy used litter can be, LOL.
Then I cleaned up the kitchen and made my Cold Coffee, I love cold coffee in the summer and now I have a container so I can refill it with my brewed coffee once I use it all up.
Since I totally forgot to do my Lazyfit yesterday, I am doing that next. Then the pile of mail and stuff I just put on the desk.
Off to Lazyfit.

Lazyfit is done. I even did the arm stuff, which I hate. Got one of my new power banks charging up and the other I have stored on the office shelf, not sure I need to charge it up yet.
Working on my pile of mail/email/socials. I have my pasta out ready to go into the microwave and while that nukes I will refill water bottles so I can change the brita filter.

Some water bottles refilled, Brita dispenser is taken apart so I can clean it, then replace the filter and finish filling the rest of the bottles.
UPdated my master plan list, it was dated 4/2023; now I am working on email and mail.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND time to wash the bathroom rugs, shower curtains and accessories AND dust the guest room.
Was doing my morning routines when I got a call, apparently a meeting was scheduled and they texted me about a noon meeting at 11am, a phone call works better. Since I didn't show up they finally called and asked if I was coming, LOL. Thank goodness I had done my face and had my hair up. I said I would be over once I took my hair down.
So now they are saying that the alarms on the doors are to make sure the "Vendors" leave the building thru the front door. It is still unclear why this is necessary, but we got the alarm removed from the back door that people use to go over to the shopping mall. I still have a bunch of stuff to go over with the ED, but I guess that will wait til later, I don't want to appear to have "To much Power".
So back to my morning chores! Earlier this morning I cleaned up the Brita dispenser and then set it up in a different spot on the counter. I am trying it out to see if I like it better in the new location. Tried to feed Sylvester but he doesn't seem interested today. Also did a Pet Express delivery for the morning delivery at 10:30, we needed new kitty grass.
I was working on my list of topics for the ED and clearing email when I got the call about the meeting.
So now I will deal with email/socials and the other stuff I had planned for the morning.

It's Errand Day AND time to toss old cosmetics and sweep/vac the guest room.
It's already started! I realized last night that I hadn't received a call regarding my lab and pedicure trip for today and it was after 5 so I figured I could get in touch with Marnee this morning. Turns out she isn't coming back in, so I was hosed.
I called first thing this morning and they tracked down Lesly to take me, then she was all cranky and told me I was sneaky because what I wanted wasn't allowed. I wanted her to drop me at Kaiser, then I was going to take a lyft to the Nail Salon - which was less than a mile down the street from Kaiser. Then pick me up there. For some reason these people don't consider that one trip! So I am going to email them for clarity that if I schedule a trip to Kaiser for 5 hours and go do other errands but as Long as I return to Kaiser for pick, that is ok, so stupid. Lesly did apologize to me for being so rude to me for something I believed I approval for, good thing too since I was going to be sending an email about it. For now I will let it go.
So I am back and go to The Bistro to grab some lunch, it's 12:30, they tell me I will have to wait a half hour if I want to order something because they are stting up for the Farmers Market!! It's lunch time, and they can't make me an egg salad sandwich --- I swear these people are incompetent. I am not blaming the server because he is from a temp agency, but it shouldn't take all the other staff to set up the tables.
What a day, so I have potato skins in the oven, I am not leaving the house for anything else.
I did my Lazyfit and now I am working on all the other morning things I usually do. Off to email/socials.

Saturday ... a day for goofing off having fun ...
I cleaned up the kitchen, loaded up the trash and ran it out to the bins. Then I made a bunch of coffee, some for me and some for my cold bottle.
Cleaned up the bathroom, someone was running around and knocked the water bowl over, LOL.
Today may be balcony day, change the lightbulb and repot the geraniums, but the kitties are napping out there right now so I will do office stuff instead.
Off to email/socials and to pay my Visa bill.

OMG!! I have a possum living under my bed!!! I was sitting in bed playing computer games watching late nite Perry Mason, and I saw movement out of the corner of my eye, thought it was a cat.
Looked over at the bathroom water bowl and there was a pretty healthy possum getting drink of water! I knew something was wrong, two days in a row the water bowl was tipped over.
Plus as I think back I kept thinking I saw something and then when I looked over, nothing was there. Then I found some pee on top of a bin that was in the closet.
Nala keeps looking around, CLUE, in the closet and has been interested in under the bed. Then I found some poop on the floor last night, my kitties don't poop on the floor!
When I got up, he went under the nightstand for the bed all I saw was the long tail disappearing, then I saw him sitting under the bedroom cat tree, got up to investigate and I was hoping he would go outside.
I walked around the living with my flashlight checking under all the stuff he could hide under but didn't see him again.
Calling Maintenance to see if they can pull out the bed and get him!!

Maintenance came and went and were not successful in finding the possum. We can only hope that he went out the balcony door when we started stalking him. I was afraid to close the door because I was willing him to go out and leave!
I doubt it, now I am worried that he went up into the box spring!!
But I guess we will wait until tonight to see if he comes back, the maintenance guy doesn't think he can climb up the wall and fit between the grates on the balcony, but there is no other way to get in here!
Just checked, a full-grown possum can get thru a 3–4-inch hole, and this is a baby, so it would be able to get in thru the grates on my balcony.

It's Home Blessings Day AND we have moved to the master bedroom/closet/bathroom, time to declutter stuff under the bed.
So I watered the outside plants so I could clean and refresh the kitty water bucket, then I scrubbed the floor with Clorox wipes where I picked up the possum poop last night.
Also got the dishwasher going before the maintenance guy came. And now I am working on email/socials and playing my normal morning computer games.
