Dipo, you might want to put some rubbing alcohol or some type of antibacterial on the scratch. I'm sure you'll be fine because Nala is an indoor cat, but cat scratches apcan cause nasty things.

What Grooch said. I have had cat scratch fever - back when I had three cats - it manifested as a lump on my groin - doctor gave me an antibiotic. It is likely chronicled in some archive on this message board.

Yeah, once I found it I did treat it, but I didn't even know she did it until I was getting dressed. I didn't feel a thing and she scratched me through clothing because she was hanging on.
My sister has had cat scratch fever, I swear she gets all the things I should be dealing with. She is ten years younger than me and needs a hip replacement!!!

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND time to toss out old towels, donate them to the shelter and time to dive behind the washer/dryer for those missing socks and dustbunnies.
Did I mention that yesterday I had 300 steps before I even got coffee or dressed chasing down my Nala!! She did pay some rent, LOL, last night when I came home from Bingo I found TWO mousies (toys) on my bed, hahahahaha.
So far today I have cleaned up the bathroom, scrubbed down the kitty litter box, dustbusted the floors and brewed the coffee. Then I went and did a Safeway order, cleaned up the kitchen and put the giant boxes out in the hallway.
Now I am working on email/socials while I listen to Taran and get caught up on BB.

It's Errand Day and time to assess your supplies in the bathroom and laundry room.
I had a noon dental cleaning today. Everything has changed, a new receptionist, a new hygienist!! It was ok but my lips are just now getting their feeling back, LOL.
So back home listening to Taran, finally having some coffee and trying to get my morning chores done!
Off to clean the kitchen and get the dishwasher going.

It's Clean Your Purse/Car Day AND time to wash the rugs/toilet covers anything that could have typical bathroom odors.
I am working on "hot spots". I had a couple of things hanging in the bathroom, got those put where they belong, finally put away the laundry I got some time ago and reloaded the stuff I had been piling up in the closet.
Then I went and unloaded the dishwasher, cleaned up the few plates in the kitchen (there is a lot less dirty plates now) and have been working on email/socials.
Got the new menu for next week, looks pretty good so I am going to skip ordering anything from the Bistro.
I have housekeeping tomorrow so it's good to get all the little things taken care of.

Saturday ... a day for fun ...
I have housekeeping today so have been getting the house together. I stuck a fort-type kitty box behind the chair in my bedroom and got a bunch of stuff hiddden away in the closet.
Cleaned up the kitchen, brewed the coffee and it's ready to go, living room scratchers are up on the chair.
Still have a few things to deal with but that can happen when she gets here.

Housekeeping came and went, Nala finally appeared from under the bed and promptly went out to the SR to her bed there. I haven't seen her since, she doesn't like housekeeping day, LOL. Now she is going to try and keep me up all night yelling at me!
I got the most of the house back in order, grabbed my floor cleaner and rag to go clean around the edges in the bathroom before putting it back together. They never get the edges as good as I do, also cleaned around the desk and barstool legs.
I need to grab the mop and clean under the hutch and the bedroom chair - I'll leave that for Monday. She did vac under the sofa so that was nice.
Off to play games until I go down for dinner.

Sunday!! A day for reflection and peace ...
Not doing much today, have bingo at 2pm, dinner plans at 6pm.
Already played some games, now listening to Taran, having some breakfast. I wasn't interested in our brunch today and I am trying to use my eggs before they go bad so made a nice breakfast.
Back to Taran, email and socials.

Bingo was fun!! The caller's family was here with his grandaughter, Jo, who is so cute and can now count, LOL, so was helpful with the numbers.
I won 2 games, had to split the prize on one, but came home with $15.
Now clearing out email/socials and finishing up Taran before I head out to dinner at 6pm.

It's HOme Blessing Day AND we are in the master bedroom and it is time to dust the walls and ceiling, LOL. Not sure I need to do this but I will look around.
I cleaned up the "poo footprints" in my bathroom, they were tiny but gone now.
Working on email/socials and planning my day and week. Need to go brew the coffee and clean up the kitchen.

It's Planning Day AND time to purge jewelry, scarves and belts - things you haven't worn in a year, but keep the heirlooms.
I cleaned up the bathroom a bit, searched for my new toothbrush heads, I must have used up the last one because there don't seem to be anymore! I like to change the head out when I get my teeth cleaned so I guess I have to go and buy some more.
Then made some lunch and coffee, cold today so no brewing. Off to work on email/socials while I watch Serena and Alcaraz play doubles, LOL.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND time to do some closet de-cluttering. Get rid of clothes you haven't warn in over a year.
I met with my Financial Planner this morning to try figure out how to protect my new gains from the inevitable downturn that will happen. We both agreed things are crazy with all the insider trading from Congress, but I have benefited from it. So moving some money to some more protected investments and I let him know what I will want for next year so he can sell stuff while the market is high.
When I took my morning pills I accidently knocked the pill holder behind the nightstand so I had to pull that out. Found some stuff, LOL, a couple of hair ties, some lipbalm, a couple of loose pills-no clue what they were, LOL. Ran the dustbuster while Nala went under the bed to explore.
Now working on email/socials, plus the paper.

I had a meeting with the ED and Decorator to discuss the problems in the dining room. It was a good meeting, we might be getting some more tables for the dining room - 2 4tops and 1 2top. I found out that "Chardae" didn't like the robots in their position so that was why they got moved. I asked that the robots be moved back where they were. I let Kaja know we didn't like Chardae, LOL. I will send a follow-up memo just to confirm what we talked about. I also asked about acoustical tiles for the dining/living room, it is an echo chamber.
NOw I can get back to the rest of the stuff for the day.

It's Errand Day and time to toss underwear! bras, panty hose, tights - get rid of the tattered, holey, and just plain worn out under-things!
I did my errands - lab test, so now I'm home and time to clean up the kitchen, refill some water/soda bottles, read the paper and play some computer games.
I think my chores are basically over for the week!!! Yeah, I have had a busy week.

It's Clean your Purse/Car Day AND time to declutter your dresser.
I had Resident Council today - I hate going to it! but I have to report on the Safety Forum. The current President is just so unorganized and doesn't seem to know how to run meetings. Anyway, I had to provide some input on different issues. One guy suggested that the Apartment Management take one of the studio apartments and turn it into a jacuzzi/hot tub and maybe add exercise equipment and maybe someone to give massage. She let him go on and on, and even later he asked for a show of hands of who wanted it and no one raised their hand. The guy is in the wrong place if he wants that.
Anyway, the meeting went way longer than necessary and I am finally home! I did order some foods from the Bistro before I went down, so I picked that up and had some clam chowder for lunch - it was great.
Finished up Taran and earlier I did get the dishwasher unloaded and put away, brewed some coffee and gave Nala her new Kitty Grass - she was thrilled.
Now working on email/socials, then I need to read the paper and catch up on games.

Kitchen cleaned up and cake is in the oven!! Paper has been read and coffee brewed.
Oh, did I mention I got some new silicon ice trays, they are called "cocktail ice" and I tried one out and I do like it. So I will give the other two to my sister for her birthday or Christmas, LOL.
Anyway, I dumped all the ice trays and refilled them, I do miss my ice maker.
Now working on email/socials and I need to work on the Newsletter and get it finalized, set up my September bills, Redo my flowers - throw away the dead ones and refresh the water, and finally do a Safeway order.
Off to email.

YEah, cake is out of the oven and I redid the flowers, cleaned out the base and letting the remaining "flower/greenery" dry before I put it back in the vase.
They look nice even if there aren't any flowers.

It's Home Blessing Day AND we are in the living room this week. Time to check for clutter and things that don't belong there and put them away.
My kitchen was a mess, LOL, I had ignored it and just stacked things in the sink all weekend. I didn't even make coffee on Sunday.
That's all changed! The kitchen is totally cleaned up, even had a bit of spot mopping. Dishwasher is loaded, got the baking supplies cleaned and put away for another year or two, hahahahahahaha. Then I brewed some coffee and took out several bags/boxes of trash and some recycling.
Now working on email/socials, adding all the stuff to my monthly calendar with alexa/planning my activities.
Oh and I restocked the bathroom!! Got the cabinet refilled with TP and then I was going to change the toothbrush head and SURPRISE!!! I found the box of heads I thought I had before I bought some more!!!!
I swear I searched the cabinet, but it was in the one place I didn't look, LOL, under a stack of kitty wipes.
Anyway, new toothbrush head in place and I now have new ones for a couple of years.
Off to email/socials/Taran and BB.
