Great meeting and I when I got back Karin was already cleaning my house! I thought I had some time before she would get here, so I had to rush to get the stuff off the floor in the bathroom and bedroom but I managed.
Now I have to put it all back together, did the bathroom already because the kitties insist on using the litter box I sat on the bed if I don't, LOl.
I need to write up my notes from the meeting so I can send them out for approval. And I have many other chores but today is turning into a hectic one so I think I will go down for some soup and a sandwich after GH.
OH, while Karin was here somehow Sylvester got startled so he jumped and hit a bowl of kibbles that went flying all over the already vacuumed area! Karin vacuumed but when I went to put stuff away I found a bunch of kibbles on the back of the Cubi and ended up having to do a little sweep.
Off to finish up email.

OMG!! They opened up a Rental Portal for us! I just got the email, I can pay my rent by Credit Card, so excited!!

It's Errand Day AND time to clear off the dresser, get everything put where it belongs and off the top.
I did a Windows update while I cleaned the kitchen and brewed coffee. It's so nice to have the house clean and mostly all the boxes gone. I still need to unpack the Kitchen box with the Air Fryer. I am trying to figure out where to put it, I hate having stuff on my counters but I don't know if it will fit in any of the cabinets.
Anyway, back to working on the email and socials.

Not much done today, I think so much happened yesterday I was pretty tired so I just relaxed. I did unpack a couple of small boxes. And I have a basket where I am gathering organizational type containers that I have so I can use them more effectively.
Tomorrow is another day, I will get back to it then.

It's Clean your Purse and Car Day AND for the last day in the Master Bedroom it's time to strip and change the bed.
I opened up the balcony and both cats went running, realized the sun wasn't shining and came back in, LOL.
Time for yogurt and Perry.

Saturday .. a day for fun and relation.
Well clearly I have already been relaxing so it must be time to get some chores done, LOL.
I did get a Chewy box and my triangle seat rollie, so I need to unpack and fix those, have laundry to put away and boxes to put together and a couple to unpack.
For now I am working on email and socials and then some yogurt and computer games.

Oh, I did get the Town Hall Summary finished and sent out. It ended up being 5 pages long!!! I am thinking maybe it will go out separately and just a short blurb in the Newsletter.
I sent it off to the ED to review before I send it out. Once he approves it I am thinking of printing 5 copies here and there thruout the day. I was originally going to send it off to my printer but it will be too expensive.

Kitchen clean, dishwasher loaded, coffee brewed and I am almost done with the email.
An amazingly, they have started up the generator! It is so loud but I am in favor of testing/running it so when/if we need it they know it still works.

Sunday ... A day of contemplation ...
I did the usual- kitchen cleaned, dishwasher loaded and running, coffee brewed and most of the Sunday paper read.
My sister is coming over for Brunch and Balcony Gardening. I want to move a few things and get it set up for spring. And we will make the new rollie and she is bringing her drill to deal with a couple of things.
Off to deal with email.

It's Home Blessing Day AND time to move to the living room/family room. Look for and clear the piles of things that don't belong.
Got a lot of stuff done yesterday, balcony totally rearranged. My sister took the cat carrier she had given me but has never been used, also a yellow locking trash can that I had used in the past to hold charcoal, LOL. She will use it for dog food. We found a cat scratcher that I had forgotten about so I cleaned it up and put it together this morning.
Oh and we put together my triangle rollie so now I have a great little seat for when I am working on stuff in the lower cabinets.
I was tired from all the stuff, cleaning occured as well, so slept in a bit this morning until the FIRE ALARM went off. I swear when new people move in increases the number of false alarms that go off, I really was looking forward to that not happening in the new apartment, hahahahaha.
So I did get the dishwasher unloaded and cleaned upthe kitchen, watched Y&R, so now time for some lunch, the paper and some computer games.

It's Planning Day and time to do a detailed vacuuming of the LR/Family Room.
I opened up the balcony and then cleaned up the kitchen. Grabbed the new rollie and piled 3 boxes of cat food on it to sort into the pantry. Today I need to get everything put away and then set up the donation boxes and get rid of all the rest!
I made some lunch and coffee and now I am clearing email and social, then I will get to my chores. I need to clean up the office kitty litter bins and refill some water and soda bottles. Plus I have 2 boxes from Walgreens to open and deal with - I think one is cookies and the other is mouthwash, LOL.
Off to email.

Town Hall Summary is finalized and sent off for printing. Got 3 boxes of catfood sorted into the pantry then broke down the boxes. Cleaned up the kitty boxes, then washed my gloves and swept up the office floor.
Now I am working on the Newsletter so I can send it off to print.
It's starting to cool off and I think I might need to move the towels off the balcony and close the door.

Anti-Procrastination Day AND look around for hidden clutter -- DVDs, magazines, etc and put them where they belong.
Cleaned up the kitchen, brewed the coffee, ordered a pizza, LOL. My friend kept talking about the one she got the other day so it has been on my mind. Since I don't like our dinner options this week, Pizza it is.
Now I can get to my chores, clearing email, unpacking boxes and then getting rid of the boxes and trash. I heard the Garbage pickup so there should be room!
Off to email.

Email cleared, water bottles and sodas are refilled, pizza and pizza dessert packaged up and in the fridge.
So many chores to do, but I am off to balance my checkbook and pay bills instead of the other chores, LOL.

It's Planning Day AND time to clean out the sofa cushions.
Nala fell (she rolled over in her sleep while she was on the edge) off the bed last night and hit the box I had packed from the linen closet. It was quite the surprise so I unpacked that this morning. And will put it all back into the shelves of the unit.
Balcony is opened up and both kitties enjoyed the sunshine for a little bit. Now time to clean up the kitchen, grab the paper and some yogurt and go back to bed for Perry, LOL.

So the power went out .. only it's just half the building, LOL. I swear it was a breaker tripping because it was good, then just stopped and the generator came on. But I am in the part of the building with no power.
Funny the things you figure out when the power goes out. My lantern in my emergency area seems to need to be charged so I will go grab that and get it charged. Somehow my laptop battery was only at 27%, it should be 100% since I don't unplug it but somehow it must have gotten unplugged at some point and I didn't realize it.
I have 4 power banks and not one of them will charge my laptop. It requires a plug!! So I need to research that.
But for now I am sitting in the hallway outside the community room - where there is power, so I have the laptop plugged in and charging up. Oh and of course without power the internet went out but I have a hotspot, and it is on for half the building.
Apparently the Kitchen has sort of power Carlton so they ordered 4 dozen pizzas, LOL. And the front desk loses power to the main phone line but they have a secondary back up cell.
So I have things to charge once it comes back.
Off to clear email.

Oh and since the power went out I was forced to do chores ... I took out the newspapers, some trash, put the knickknacks back up on the linen shelves. Sorted some stuff in the living room and read the paper while I watched the PG&E man attempting to get the power back on, I can see the giant transformer from my living room windows, it's down the street.
I also dug out my headlamp so I can read my books later tonight if we don't get cable back. Interestingly Comcast has said we will get it back by 3.30 but I don't know how that will work.
Oh maybe they will get it back on using hotspots, that is what I am on for now.

Dipo, if you always leave your laptop plugged in, then perhaps the battery is dying? I have killed more batteries that way, but I also have older model laptops.

At 8.30 many trucks and at least 4 guys arrived and have been working on the power. It has just come back on, which is several hours earlier than the most recent update which predicted 3.15am, YEAH!!

Juju, I am going to watch it and see if it changes since I charged it back up. My cats have been known to unplug the cable just enough that it appears hooked up but isn't, LOL.

OK, I may have found the problem. I noticed the power to the battery was going down and it occurred to me maybe the power strip/cube I have everything plugged into might not be own, and I was correct! Good grief.

It's Cean Your car and Purse Day AND time to finish up any missions that weren't complete.
I woke up at 3am to all the lights in the house on, the timers are all wrong, so that is no my list for the day. Reset everything, stove clock, microwave clock, timers, anything else time driven, LOL.
I did manage to clean up the kitchen, get the dishwasher going and then I grabbed some yogurt, played some games, watched Perry, then hit the showers.
Going to Chinese for lunch, so getting ready for than, then when I return will get busy on stuff.
Off to clear email and do make-up.
