It's Home Blessing Day AND we have moved to the kitchen where it is time to get a duster and look for cobwebs.
Getting a late start today, I need to google why my coughing comes back with a vengeance at night and keeps me from sleeping. I think I finally got to sleep around 3ish.
I have some office chores, pay rent, pay taxes - find a couple of stamps, but my main chore today is to sweep the kitchen and office, and bathroom, then vacuum up all the kitty litter I find, LOL.
Off to clean the kitchen and start the coffee.

Kitchen is cleaned and I swept the floor out into the office area for vacuuming later, LOL. Got my coffee and now I will work my way thru email.
Oh and I changed out the table runner to spring instead of winter, LOL.

It's Planning Day AND time to wipe down those kitchen cabinets.
I cleaned up the kitchen, loaded up the dishwasher, brewed the coffee and got dressed for the day. I watered the outside plants am now working on email.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND time to clean out the fridge - don't forget the vegetable bin and the door - for expired stuff.
Got a late start since I was busy yesterday! It is so annoying that I am totally worn out from normal activity. Yesterday I went down to the Bistro for lunch, then took a nap so I could go out for my friends 70th Birthday Celebration at Outback.
It was so fun and a great time, but I was exhausted when I got home and started coughing badly! Took some time before it settled and I could go to sleep.
So not much on the agenda for today. I cleaned up the kitchen, brewed the coffee, refilled water bottles and got the dishwasher running so I don't run out of kitty plates.
Now I will work on email/socials, pay a few bills and then go back to bed for a rest and the paper and computer games.

It's Errand Day AND time to scrub the countertops!
So I got my list done, did my Safeway order, cleaned up the kitchen, got the trash ready to go out - I don't want to get so behind like I did while I was sick, brewed the coffee, unloaded the dishwasher and unpacked the chewy box.
So now I am working on email/socials and some office stuff. I have to make sure my money transfer went thru, then pay the taxes so I can drop them into the mail tonight.
One thing on my list -- I just realized I still have my Christmas wreath on the door, LOL. I think it is time to deal with my hallway decor.
And today I feel like I am finally well!!!!!! Just have an occasional cough, which is very annoying. So this was a 25 day illness!!!

EMail done, Safeway came and I put it away, Taxes have been paid and I am taking them down to the mail shortly.
Also took out the newspapers and trash... oh shoot I forgot to tell the front desk that the trash chute was full and overflowing.
Off to dinner and to email the front desk.

Blasted awake by a Fire Alarm!!! And it's raining and must have been steady since there was a puddle at my patio door. Threw a towel over that.
Closed the one window where it always rains inside and the other one is somehow protected - it's at an angle.
Fed the kitties, grabbed the paper and some yogurt and back to bed.

It's Clean your PUrse and Car DAY and it's time to Mop the kitchen.
Finally up and about. Got the kitchen cleaned and dishwasher loaded, coffee brewing, then I went out on the balcony to check the water damage.
The front half, by the railing, had wet towels which are now draped all over the living room to dry. A "mousie" got wet and squeezed it to bring in to dry and the squeaker went off and won't stop!!! I have it stuffed under a pillow to keep the noise down. The chair cushion only got wet on the seat so I flipped it the back of the chair to dry. All the stuff up against the building is dry.
That means it wasn't a heavy rain. It takes a lot of heavy rain to come down through the 3 balconies to get my bedroom window and those things wet.
So now my plan for the day is to get ready for Housekeeping tomorrow. I want to do a quick vac of the bedroom/office rugs. And dinner at 5ish. I need to think about what else will need to be done.
Oh while out on the balcony I did grab the spring wreath so that is on the door now.

LOL, it is a toy mouse that has a squeaker. Nala loves them, captures them, rabbit kicks them and then leaves them for dead, hahahahaha.
No real mouses here but I will ask her "where is your mousie" and she will go and get one.

Saturday .. a day for play
I cleaned up the kitchen and started putting stuff away for my visit from Housekeeping. My sister is here taking away all the stuff I have been gathering for over a month. I had asked her to bring me Egg McMuffin and hash browns, LOL.
Once the rain is over I will need to redo my balcony because I had her take one of my Jade plants. It had toppled over in its pot so I thought she could plant it in her backyard.
Working on email and all the chores I have for her, LOL.

Got the house back together, well mostly I may have a few small things that haven't made it back to their normal place.
Just pulled all the towels in off the balcony since it started raining.
And it is great to have the house all clean again!

Sunday ... a Wet Wonderful day to Read ...
Once again it started raining before I got the towels in and the patio door closed, LOL. It's not raining hard so I am hoping the towels don't get soaked. I got the door closed and a towel to wipe up the floor and put on the threshold for any drips from the door/blinds.
Cleaned up the kitchen, got ready to go to brunch, made the coffee and now I am working on email.

It's Home Blessing Day AND we are now on to the bathroom and the guest room. Time to get rid of old products in the shower and then de-clutter the guest room.
I had a difficult night with coughing but finally got some sleep so I woke up really early, fed the kitties, played some games and then took a nap.
Feel much better now but since it is so late my original plans have changed. I got the kitchen cleaned up, the dishwasher is running and the coffee brewed and sitting on my desk.
My orig plan was to change out the bed entirely, take a shower, print out all the replacement minutes, newsletter and bylaws for the new book AND get the balcony changed around.
But since it is so late I am moving the balcony and bed to tomorrow and will just do the printing and personal cleanup before I go down for dinner. If I didn't like the dinner I would have moved the shower but I like it, so the bed has to wait.
Off to do email and printing.

It's Planning Day AND time to shine the tub/shower and in the guest room - redo the bed.
Redoing the bed is on my list for the master bedroom. I have started, but as you know I have to work around the kitties, LOL. So the pillows have been removed, kitty toys removed, working on the rest.
Also started working on the Newsletter, cleaned up the kitchen, unloaded the dishwasher - tried to see if there was a filter that needed changing but that seems to require taking the dishwasher apart, brewed the coffee and now working on email/socials/tvch.

Email and socials done. Got the new fitted sheet on the bed, taking a break, LOL.
Finally getting around to reading the paper, maybe play a few games before I go finish up the bed. Did I mention my new comforter came? I was expecting it on Wednesday and it arrived on Saturday, so that is exciting.

Bed is done!! I did water some plants and unpacked my new sketchers. Now playing games while I am watching Oriana give birth to her kittens.
I really want a nap but am trying to stay up all day so that I can get my sleep patterns back into normal.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND Flylady must have slept in so I think it's time to clean the trash cans and rugs in the bathroom and then dust the guest room.
I think I might be well, a little afraid to think it because I might jinx myself, LOL. I woke up late, for some reason I still seem to need alot of sleep so now I just need to get back on track with my daily times and routines.
Once up I did clean up the kitchen and I took out the trash, oh that reminds me - trash room is really bad. I think that they need more trash pickups as they fill up the building.
Not sure what is up on my list for the day but first I will deal with email and socials.

I did the minutes/newsletters/bylaws book for the living room. We think the "former" manager threw them out for spite. The magazine rack also disappeared, which held the book, and current management thinks she just threw the whole thing away.
Anyway, the book was a copy of all the minutes from 2023 to now. I only have stuff from when I moved here but I did 6 months of the old minutes, the new group will have to put their minutes in, and I had the bylaws and a few other things. So it is now all set up and ready to go.
It has been on my list for over a month, got delayed by illness!

It's Errand Day -- I am traveling to the courtyard for the Farmers Market, LOL -- AND time to get rid of old cosmetics.
Earlier I cleaned up the kitchen and got the dishwasher going. Later I dustbusted the bathroom did a little bit of spot mopping. Then I went and brewed the coffee, restocked my pills and consolidated all the bottles, ordered Sylvester some more Gabbi and now I am working on regular mail, email/socials and getting ready to go to the courtyard.
I swear, Sylvester seems to want milk, I had to cover my coffee so he wouldn't lick the foam from the cream. Guess I will get him a little dish and see if he really wants milk - the other day he drank out of my milk glass before I even got to have some, LOL.
Off to do makeup and all the mails.

Farmers Market was fun. Mostly I just sat in the sun and had chats with others. I can buy all the things from Safeway if I need them to make something. Not that I cook much.
Got thru all the mail, regular and email, cleared up the office piles, calendared bills to be paid and then I ordered a pizza, LOL.

Got the dishwasher unloaded and the kitchen cleaned up, brewed the coffee, cleared email and now working on socials while I watch Stephen Colbert.
Today I will be working on the balcony and taking out trash. I just heard the garbage truck so there will be room in the trash.

Balcony has been rearranged and all the standing water dumped. Hopefully I won't get as much this next go round - Monday/Tuesday.
Now I have the trash ready to go but it's time for GH.
Checked on my sister - she caught her arm on an exposed nail at work and ripped a hole in her arm. Finally went to the ER because it was still hurting and they told her she should have come in for stitches but now it's too late. However, antibiotic shot and tetanus shot! She is so accident prone it is amazing, I am the old one but she is the one who falls down and hurts herself all the time.
I also cleaned out my vacuum, I noticed it wasn't sucking up like it should and it worked when I took the handheld off, so I took the poles apart and there was a huge clump of kitty hair stuck, LOL. So now I can vac the office and another chore will be done.
I kept out one of the bins with a red top to put my Holiday decor in, that is on my list but not today. I need to sort thru my goodwill and gather stuff for the "Textile Drive" at the Concord Library. Carlton is going to run a shuttle back and forth that day so people can get rid of stuff.
Off to see what's going on.

Saturday .... a day for fun ....
WOW I am very surprised, I seem to have caught up from all the chores that were delayed during my illness. Not much on my list anymore.
Today I will probably work on gathering stuff for the "Textile Drive" at the library, and I guess I could take this time to redo all the holiday decorations. The hallway has Christmas garlands and an easter bunny, hahahahaha.
Guess it is time for spring stuff, but first I need to clear email and I have a lunch date for Chinese.

It's stuff you can five to Goodwill, clothes, purses, bedding, stuffed animals... no furniture or oversized items.
I think it is easier for some people to get to the library since the bus stop is right there any driving to a Goodwill is difficult

Sunday ... a day for reflection and Parties, LOL ...
I cleaned up the litter boxes then went to clean the kitchen - washes my hands, LOL. Got all the kitty dishes soaking, packaged up my trash - did I mention I purchased a stapler for the kitchen. You can't use a twist tie, or tie the handles on paper bags, so I staple them just before I throw them down the trash chute.
Working on email/socials now, before I run down to brunch. Then my goals for the day are to gather things for the Textile Drive, and maybe work on my decor stuff.

It's Home Blessing Day AND time to check under the bed and get rid of stuff that doesn't belong there.
I got the kitchen cleaned up and the dishwasher is running. Today I need to take out some trash and recycling then grab all the decor items in from the Storage Room before the rain starts.
But my main focus is to gather my items for the Textile Drive. I have been stacking things up here and there so now it's time to put them all into one bag or two.
Off to email/socials but first my paper and some yogurt.

Email is done. The "Volunteer Appreciation Social" was fun, good cupcakes and cookies, then I had some lunch.
Got all the catfood put away that had been piling up on my hall table, and now I will bag up some more stuff to go tomorrow. Off to check socials.
