Maintenance came and went and were not successful in finding the possum. We can only hope that he went out the balcony door when we started stalking him. I was afraid to close the door because I was willing him to go out and leave!
I doubt it, now I am worried that he went up into the box spring!!
But I guess we will wait until tonight to see if he comes back, the maintenance guy doesn't think he can climb up the wall and fit between the grates on the balcony, but there is no other way to get in here!
Just checked, a full-grown possum can get thru a 3–4-inch hole, and this is a baby, so it would be able to get in thru the grates on my balcony.

It's Home Blessings Day AND we have moved to the master bedroom/closet/bathroom, time to declutter stuff under the bed.
So I watered the outside plants so I could clean and refresh the kitty water bucket, then I scrubbed the floor with Clorox wipes where I picked up the possum poop last night.
Also got the dishwasher going before the maintenance guy came. And now I am working on email/socials and playing my normal morning computer games.

Hahahahaha, I know Juju, since the maintenance guy couldn't find him I wonder if they believe me, LOL. But he was the guy who helped get rid of the 3, yes 3, that tried to move in a couple of years ago.
So far so good, but I was so tired last night that I slept for 7 solid hours with no wake ups, didn't even hear my 8am Alexa reminder. He could have been running around all night, and I wouldn't have heard him.
I will see how it goes tonight.

It's Planning Day AND time to clear off the top of the bed and then make it up.
I called and got a hair appointment for tomorrow, brewed the coffee, cleaned up the kitchen, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher and then opened up the balcony door.
The rest of my chores are to take out the newspapers, cans, boxes and trash to the bins. Do the balcony work, Lazyfit, and repot geraniums.
For now, email/Socials. Oh yeah, I have bingo tonight too.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day -- I have 2 tasks that qualify, LOL, changing the lightbulb on the balcony and repotting the geraniums -- hope to get that done today. AND time to clear up the nightstand and left side of the bed.
Woke up this morning at 7am to jackhammering over in the parking lot across from my house, at least I think that is where it was. I had an 11 am haircut so I looked out her windows to see what was going on and couldn't tell, but there are a bunch of dumptrucks lined up to take stuff away. The trees are too tall so I can't see the area where they are working.
Got my haircutt, up in rollers now, cleaned up the kitchen and brewed the coffee. I am off to lunch soon, want to see if I can catch the ExecDirector and clear up a couple of things.
For now trying to get caught up on email/socials.

LOL, my Safeway order is lost. I got an email that said it was delivered, nothing outside my door, then 5 minutes later an email said my order was delayed. I called the number listed on the email and they couldn't handle the question and referred me to the local store. Called the local store and they asked me to call back in ten minutes because they couldn't access the computer, the pick up people were using it.
Then Door Dash calls and says the delivery email was in error and is it ok to give the dasher my address because it is no longer in the navigation system.
LMAO, I hope I get my delivery.
In the meantime I did my Lazyfit Day 25 routine. I did get to meet with the new Life Enrichment Coordinator, who started yesterday. Seems nice and has experience in many areas of Carlton but most recently Memory Care. Let's hope she doesn't try to give activities from Memory Care, LOL.

Geraniums have been repotted into a more acceptable, pretty pot, LOL. I started to change the lightbulb but I decided I wasn't comfortable getting higher on the step stool so I will call for a maintenance man tomorrow morning.

It's Errand Day AND time to put away any piles from the right side of the bed.
I opened up the balcony for the kitties then went to my usual chores, clean up the kitchen, load up the dishwasher, brew the coffee, but today I am putting contact paper on the shelving unit I use as a coffee station. I noticed that sometimes water drips onto the shelf and it is sort of bubbling up the cover - it's only particle board. So, I got some contact paper to put on it to protect it a little better.
Also emailed for a maintenance man to come and put my balcony lightbulb in and I have some things to work on as the Resident Safety Representative.
Did an update on the computer so now I need to get all the windows as I prefer and clear email/socials.

Working on email and got the new menu for next week, still don't know what is up for 4th of July.
Maintenance came and put in my dust to dawn lightbulb, can't wait to try it out tonight. Working on the contact paper now.
Oh and I ordered a lunch pick up so we shall see how that goes.

Contact paper project is done, all the coffee stuff is back in place, and it looks pretty good, a few air bubbles and probably not quite straight everywhere but it is pretend marble so you can't tell!

It's Clean your Purse/Car Day AND clean up any piles on the end of the bed.
Got the dishwasher unloaded and reloaded, brewed the coffee, cleaned the bartop and desk, then I noticed that the coffee "station" was drooping. So I tracked down the shelf, covered it with contact paper and wedged it into the space so it's no longer sagging.
I have Resident Council meeting today, since I am the Resident Representative for the Safety Forum I have information to report.
For now getting ready to go and clearing email/socials.

OMG, I forgot how insane these residents are! Clearly
the President has not been calling these people on their idiocy. One guy how has lived here for 4 months spent 10 minutes bitching about The Bistro. I had to explain that we don't have anything to do with Bistro Management and our manager has been off for 2 weeks so they need to wait for her to return and then see how it goes.
All I wanted to do was update on the Safety stuff and one person came up to me to complain about their apartment things that are in her mind safety issues. Their garbage disposal won't work. I explained that is not me. And she wants to phone people, doesn't like email.
Thank goodness it's over and I can get back into my normal day.

Saturday ... a day for rest and relaxation ...
I got up late, well I got up early and fed Sylvester then went back to bed, played games, read the paper, etc. Then Sylvester started meowing at me like he was starving .... his bowl of half and half was empty, LOL. I asked the Vet why he was so interested in cream and if it was ok, and she said he probably wants the fat.
Anyway I am up now, cleaned up the kitchen, loaded the dishwasher, brewed the coffee and refilled water bottles while I waited.
Got my list of chores, figured out my lunch and dinner plans - don't like what is being served today.
Now working on email/socials.

Sunday ... YEAH, it's another day to relax and reflect ...
Did the morning routine - kitchen cleaned, coffee brewed and I ran the stinky garbage out to the bins. The trash room is trashed so I need to report that.
I have $5 Bingo today and Brush is just normal breakfast food.
Oh and my Chewy box came so this afternoon I will need to sort catfood, LOL.

It's Home Blessing Day AND it's time for a detailed vacuuming session in the living room. Hmmm, I really need this for my bedroom so maybe I will do that instead, it is on my list.
I got the dishwasher going, coffee brewed and cleaned up the kitchen. Got the rollie going so I can pile all the trash on it and take it out. Did my Lazyfit - day 27.

It's Planning Day AND time to clear any hotspots from the living room.
I hauled out the trash!!!! It was the top of my list, also cleaned up the kitchen got the dishwasher unloaded and brewed the coffee.
Ordered some kitty grass and I guess it's time to play some computer games and water the outside plants.
Plants watered, water bowl scrubbed and refilled for the kitties. Grabbed my coffee so now I can update my lists and check out socials.

Got a very late start today but I have gotten the coffee brewed and the kitchen cleaned up. I loaded up my Bingo Bag with dimes and quarters, last night I spent all my dimes and had to borrow a few. I finally won $3 in a shared win for Blackout. Now I have my Bingo Bag all refilled.
Working on email/socials and updating my daily, Alexa and monthly calendar. I watered the indoor plants and have many more things on my list.

Got my Safeway order put away, and I seem to have acquired 3 fresh zucchinis, LOL. Guess I will have to cook them and make sure they aren't cucumbers.
Oh and I have been wondering why they knock on the door and ask if I want help when my delivery notes clearly say "no contact". The front desk just sent this guy back to knock on the door and ask me!!
I swear, we can't get them to help us when we want it but they sure don't have a problem doing it when we don't want it!

It's Clean Your Car/Purse Day and "pick your mission", take 15 minutes and do something in your home.
I brewed the coffee, unloaded the dishwasher, loaded it back up and then got ready to go for Chinese Food.
Now I am working on email/socials and gathering up the trash I want to take out. I got all the cat food put away so there are a bunch of boxes that need to be broken down and taken to the trash.
Oh and I need to find an article in the paper that dealt with CPAP machines that I think my friend would enjoy.

Trash is out, the styrofoam box my "Oven Roasted Honey Gold Seasoned Drumsticks" came in. I wanted some chicken that wasn't breaded and it seemed like a good deal on QVC. Plus a big bag of trash, several boxes and a bag of recycling. YEAH! That task is done.
Also opened up the drumsticks and pulled out a few for my friend to try, plus I think the "green tubular vegetables" that I received in my Safeway order are cucumbers so I am giving 2 to her, she will probably eat them, not so sure I will get around to them, LOL.

Fabulous Chinese but they changed owners on July 1st, so our favorite waiter is gone. The put tablecloths on the tables, not a good idea for lunchtime and when there is soy sauce, the prices went up but not that much and the food is still excellent.
Picked up some clam chowder and strawberry cake to go and then got my Chinese leftovers put away.
Email/Socials are up for now.

Got the kitchen cleaned up, brewed some coffee and took the chopped onions out of the freezer to see if they would work to make some potato salad.

It's HOme Blessing Day AND we are in the kitchen, time to scrub the stove, drip pans and knobs.
I have been busy, got up early to feed Sylvester, got the kitchen cleaned up and dishwasher running. Then read the paper, yogurt and some computer games.
When I finally got up I vacuumed the bedroom and office, cleaned up the bathroom and did some spot mopping. Also got the dishwasher unloaded. Made sure the July Newsletter was final and sent that off for printing. Now I need to do some research for the Wednesday Saftey Meeting.
Now I am doing office stuff adn thinking about lunch, LOL. I guess it's leftover Chinese food for me. Got a Walmart order done, I wanted to get some plastic trash bags since we don't get them from Safeway anymore.
Off to finish up email and socials.
