To bad I would have liked to have seen if they could have recovered after this season. Which I think was the worst of the 5.

I remember I think it was Australia that went on hiatus but came back. Hopefully the same happens for Canada. With the exception of last year I really thought Canada had a much better version that the USA

Over the last couple of days they've been doing sneaky garbled BBCan clips on Global's twitter account (the network BB Can has been on) such as this:

with the hashtag #YouCanandYouWill (a phrase Arisa had been using last season)
and there's a countdown on their Facebook page with it ending at about 9:40 pm Eastern tonight- which is during the BBUS live show (which they air)- so many people are speculating that because of all the hubbub of the hiatus announcement they're reversing their decision and are bringing the show back in 2018 and will officially announce it tonight...

As bad as last season was I would still like to see BBCan return. Up until last year I thought the first 4 seasons blew the American version out of the water.

I would say the first 4 were better Mameblanche but I really thought last season was awful. I fear another return of Ika and I couldn't wait to get her off my screen

I'm hoping that since they've decided to bring it back they're also going to aim for being high quality again for those who think it was a less than Stellar season last season. I liked it. I didn't have any issues with it. I was very happy overall. Especially that an 'older women' came in second even if I wasn't a fan of hers personally.
And I love how diversity is always a huge Factor in our cast. I think that the diversity in the current American cast is a direct reflection of our casts.

I didn't like last season's cast at all (which isn't a secret). For one thing, I didn't like any of the returning players (except Kevin). In fact, I disliked the cast so much, I stopped watching altogether after a couple of weeks.
The earlier seasons were so good.
