LOL - Remember the Big Brother where they had the twins. Now you've made me think of what it would be like with two of him.

Hi I tried to search for this show & I came up empty handed. Wondering what others think of it?
Does anyone have a thread for "16&pregnant"? It is on MTV

I know we had a thread at one time but you could start one in this area:

http://www.tvclubhouse.com/forum/read.php?file=/156/156.html&lm=1271319265

That is the Other Reality Show section.

I know we've discussed 16 and Pregnant as well as Teen Mom.

If the banner mod (Jimmer?) has a spare few minutes sometime, could they grey out Govan in the BBUK thread please? He was evicted on Friday.

Thank you!

No problem, Kitt. I've been trying to follow along but I had a busy weekend and I totally missed that.

Just to let you know, I'm getting a few time-outs here and there today. The page works, then I click on a thread, it doesn't appear and eventually time-outs, then go back, click again and it works.

Wanted you to know in case it was important, seeing as you'd just switched over.

Kitt, the next time you get a time-out, can you please copy the URL and paste it here for us? Thanks!

I've tried about 5 times to change my profile info but the change I've indicated is just ignored. I unchecked Big Brother from the list of threads that open when I use the "all new message" button. Can someone advise how I can stop all the BB threads from showing when I come on and look for new messages. Thanks!

Holly: If you want to search for new messages in your favorite topics, you must use the actual 'Search' tool. The link on the menu for 'Check all new messages' does exactly that, it searches for all new messages in all accessible areas for your username. Try clicking on 'SEARCH' at the top of the page then select 'Search by date' 'Registered Users' to find new messages since you last checked only in your 'Favorite' topics.

Ah, thanks, Dra. That makes sense!!

Maybe you can help with something else I've been having bother with. When I click on a thread, the new window that opens just up and shrunk in size one day. I did nothing to cause it. So now, I have to enlarge every new window that opens. My "home/main" page is full size and I've tried everything I know to get the new window openings to full size too. Any suggestions?

BTW, so good to see you and JMM back posting again. You were missed!

Holly, here is an excerpt from an article published in PC Magazine here:

You may find that Internet Explorer opens at a peculiar size—too small, too large, too narrow. When you open a link in a new window, that window's size may also be wrong.

To control the size of primary and secondary IE windows, start by closing all IE windows. Then launch IE, right-click on any link, and choose Open in New Window. Size the secondary window the way you want all such windows to be. Now close it by clicking on the X icon at the top-right corner while holding down the Shift key. Repeat this for the primary window that remains. You may have to repeat the process from time to time.

Holly, I've had the same issue in the past and tried similar tricks and somehow managed to get it to work. You can also search Google to find other possible solutions. Just enter something like "internet explorer new window size" (or click here) to see other ideas.

Good luck. I know it can be frustrating. The other alternative would be a different browser. Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, are all very popular.

I have seen on other sites where there is a thumbups/thank you button in the corner of a post and you can just click on it. Instead of trying a reply to a post you like and have it show 2 pages later...it would have a little "supergranny" that would show I like this person's remark. Don't know if I am explaining this properly or not. You do end up with the same people repeating their views over and over, especially in BB. I am positive you would get more participation if members could do this.

Hi Supergranny,

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, there is not any option for that type of feature on this software.

When this board software was selected, the choice was more for stability and security over bells and whistles. In the many years that I have been the technical administrator, we have not had any real problems that were directly attributed to the software itself. Yes, we've had a few hiccups with servers and hosting, but the board itself has always been extremely resilient to most everything, even Big Brother endurance competition traffic!

Thank you for explaining that for me. I know this site gets some exhuberant(adj. Full of unrestrained enthusiasm or joy) traffic at BB time It was just a thought.
