Any one else watching this AMC program? My thoughts are Joe is having a big fight with his father who is a big-wig at IBM. When he left he destroyed millions worth of equipment, but they still want him back so either he knows something or he is just brilliant. Joe really wants to destroy IBM (or his father) by using this little company to create a new portable computer. The scars all over his body is a little weird. I'm not sure why Cameron didn't notice them since they have hooked up twice now.

I watched the first episode and enjoyed it. I love Lee Pace (not sure about his character, but I'm sure we will see him evolve). I have the second episode, but need to watch it.

Glad you started a thread. :-)

I like your theory. I need to watch episode two! I'm interested in what makes Joe tick.

I'm enjoying this show. I kept wondering if it was based on a real life event so I looked it up and discovered that it was!

It's an interesting read and, at least for me, it gave me the back story that I needed to fully understand what's going on in this series.

Thanks for posting this Sanfranjoshfan. I agree, an interesting read. I had forgotten how popular some of those company brands were in the 1980's. Heck, I had forgotten that some of them ever even made computers!

Fortunately for them I don't have much that I am watching this off season. If other shows pop up I'm sure this one will quickly drop to the bottom of priority.

I started watching this when it first came on and then sort of dropped off before the season 1 finale. I meant to catch up again and finally did today so I can start watching season 2. I love seeing all of the 80's details and stuff that I can remember from my own life, which I couldn't with Mad Men since it was before my time. The clothes and music take me back (I had that pastel striped OP sweatshirt! my family had that rust colored trimline wall phone!) and it's a kick watching them get all excited about "portable" computers that only weigh 15 pounds and playing games over phone lines. :-) AMC almost always does good tv.

I finally discovered this show and plowed through season 1 and 2. I loved Lee Pace in Pushing Daisies and this is surely a different role. I never had a Compaq computer but took Basic in high school and IT classes in college so some of this brings back memories of my first IT jobs, etc. I'm enjoying this show a lot and just started season 3. It's like a walk down memory lane.
