Interested to see what "Young Sheldon" is going to be like.

I'm nervous about Young Sheldon, hoping it won't spoil the main show by association. I heard today that regular Sheldon narrates, so perhaps it's kind of a Wonder Years thing.

Cass, I watch it every now and then. But it seems like a lot of the shows they have on there are repeats that I saw years ago.

This link:

http://tvline.com/2017/05/14/fall-tv-schedule-2017-nbc-network-abc-primetime-cbs-shows/

has a nice grid showing everything for all channels by day and time (if you click on the grid it opens a jpeg you can print).

It makes me realise how much tv I watch from channels that aren't the main ones. It used to be that I often had four competing shows in a time slot, now I get none of that and sometimes only a couple of hours of network tv.

I have a question regarding the grid. It shows for Saturday night on ABC "Saturday Night Football" and on Fox "Fox Sports Saturday: Fox College Football." Are two stations going to be showing college football on Saturday night?

I wonder if they'll change it now they see there's an overlap. There are quite often changes after the original announcements, but I don't know about something as big as sports.

Well a bit of news...NBC blinked. They now WON'T move This is Us to Thursday...

revised NBC schedule on relevant days:

TUESDAYS
8 p.m. – The Voice
9 p.m. – This Is Us
10 p.m. – Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders

THURSDAYS
8 p.m. – Superstore
8:30 p.m. – The Good Place
9 p.m. – Will & Grace
9:30 p.m. – Great News
10 p.m. – Chicago Fire

(note- NBC has part of the Thursday Night Football package, so the Thursday schedule would be pre-empted for about 6 weeks in the fall)

It's sort of pointless to to look at fall right now. It will change many times.

What I am curious about is the summer schedule. I see some shows are starting this week, but there won't be anything close to looking like normal hockey is over.

Yes, when will the summer "special event" shows start? There have been many that we've enjoyed over the past few years. It's time the networks realized not everyone is outside in the summer time. In some places, we're sitting inside enjoying our AC, cause it's too damn hot to be outside.

I am looking forwards to this one, Carl Reiner always cracks me up. OH wait, I don't have HBO
If You're Not in the Obit,
HBO 8p
Comedic documentary finds 95-year-old Carl Reiner tracking down fellow nonagenarians (and centenarians) such as Betty White, Mel Brooks, Kirk Douglas, Dick Van , and Norman Lear.

here is the summer/fall premiere schedule, doesn't have all the shows, but most of them.

I can't find the Kevin Can Wait thread... so this seemed as good as place as any to put this article.

Has anyone seen Nightcap on POP tv? It says season 2 starts this week and it looks hilarious with some big names on it

I've never watched Kevin Can Wait, but I may have to check it out now that my new heroine, Leah Remini, is joining the cast.

It seems weird though, right? Why not just reboot King of Queens?
