A head's up to everyone: tonight's show (November 10th), is 90 minutes long, not an hour long.

I didn't know tonight's show was 90 minutes until it was over and I looked at the clock. So much happened tonight and it went so quick. I'm happy for Opy but I really hope his dad doesn't off himself. I knew Jax couldn't leave but couldn't figure out how that would be resolved. I was happy to see Chibs okay and out of the hospital as I really like the actor and was afraid he was gone. It will be an interesting twist with the wife and child added in. Heck, this whole cast is great. I think that's the main reason I keep watching even if I am repulsed at the lifestyle of these people, lol.

Does anybody know how far into the season this is? I saw that last night's show was an hour and a half and figured it was the season finale. I'm glad it wasn't but wonder how far off it is.

It looks like I was able to find the answer to my own question. In case anyone else is wondering, it appears there are three episodes left: 11/17, 11/24 and 12/01, according to tv.com

Thanks, Friend, as I was wondering the same thing. The one person I want to survive this season is the sheriff but I have a feeling he won't.

Hey Kappy, your sheriff made it through another episode. We knew Gemma's admission would bring Clay and Jax back together. I wonder what will come of Opie reading the book. I was a little surprised he went as far as he did with Stahl and that he didn't go further with Tig.

Lol ~ Friend, yes he is! I'm also starting to like the deputy sheriff under him more and more and think he adds a good counter point to the dark side while remaining likeable. I couldn't even comment on last week's episode because there were so many things bothering me. Let's just say I'm so grateful to not live in a town with a gang like this. I'm also not that happy with what they're doing with the Tara character. Like last night - yes, the administrator is horrendous and a huge "B" but I'm still bothered by the violence used to get her way. I still like to believe (or at least pretend) that education is a way out of that life and not just back into it. And yet I'm still hooked on the show. I feel so sick for watching this, lol!

Kappy, I know just what you mean but that's how I know the show is good, they actually have me rooting for the bad guys and it makes me feel like I need to shower afterward. I can't/won't stop watching it though. Kinda reminds me of how I felt when I would watch The Shield. Speaking of which, as I was watching the show, I couldn't place the blonde guy who showed up and fought on their side and then I realized it was one of the bad cops from The Shield who got killed.

Gemma had threatened the administrator & all it accomplished was that the administrator was more determined than ever to ruin Tara's career. I think after the murder of the exbf, Tara chose her path. I think at this juncture she was choosing between her career or being vice-queen bee & she chose her career in vice queen bee fashion.

Good finale. For a while there, I was thinking just about everyone was going to die and there wouldn't be any storyline for next season but then Zoebel gets away and baby Abel is kidnapped. Oh yeah ~ plenty of storylines for next season! Have I mentioned what a great cast this show has? Geez, even the nazi killed in the bathroom stall almost had me feeling for him. And the younger sheriff is definitely getting better with each episode!

They really did a good job closing some story lines, and setting others up for next year. I love this show. I'm sorry it's done for 8 or 9 months.

I know I'm totally late on this one, but a friend just turned me on to this show. He showed me the last two episodes of season 1 that he had on his computer, so all this week I watched all of season 2 online and I'm hooked! One question though, at the end of season 1 Jax's wife (ex-wife?) was there, but she wasn't there at the beginning of season 2 or for the rest of it, did they say where she was?

Re: Jax's ex-wife: She was played by Drea De Matteo. I guess they didn't pay her enough to show up in season two. It opened it up for Tara to take Jax back. No one knows where Jax's ex-wife got off to.

Wasn't she in rehab and then released to a half-way house? (She did come back for the party they threw when the baby was finally released from hospital.) It's a great show Ahnicka!

Holly, I'm hooked! I just hate that I now have to wait so long for season 3. I only saw the last 2 episodes of season 1, but yes the wife did come back; however, she wasn't on at all during the beginning and whole of season 2, and I don't recall the storyline making any mention of why she was absent on season 2. Wasn't sure if I just missed it or something.

I'm sorry, I have another question. Why did the female agent frame Gemma for the death of the Irish guy? She's an agent and was attacked by the guy so couldn't she explain it as a legitimate kill? I don't get why she felt she had to hide that she did it.
