I just ate the most perfectly ripe and delicious avocado for lunch. It's been slim pickens for avocados because of the California drought.

Texas. I was with you....until the miracle whip! Lol

English muffin toasted 'til extra crunchy, Black Forest ham --whatever that means, Swiss cheese, tomato, tons of crisp lettuce with Best food mayo.

I had a "plain" grilled cheese sandwich (which was deliciously melty and toasted) from the Ruthie Food Truck and a bottle of water and went and sat at a table under a tree at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas and read and enjoyed the beautiful day.

http://www.wisegeek.org/what-is-black-forest-ham.htm#didyouknowout

Apparently it has to do with the area of Germany it originated in and the specific method of smoking it.

Naja, re: avocado. Sounds yummy. Sometimes dh and I will just have/share an avocado for lunch (it's so filling). We put Worcestershire sauce (soy sauce if out) in the center and eat it with a spoon.

People ask questions about things and then my mind won't let them go until I go and google them to find out the answers...I think it is an incipient form of obsessive compulsive disorder or something...YIKES!

Roxip, no...not "yikes" at all. I love that. A curious mind...a researcher. Me too, if I have the energy. (Not so much lately)
