Oh! I see now how the headline could have been read two ways. Whew. It sure didn't seem right somehow. Thanks, kids.

You know I wondered if he was ill. Lately on NCIS/LA, his voice sounded off to me and he looked like he didn't feel well. I wondered if he was returning to work from an illness.

So sorry to hear he has passed.

That was a very nice statement from his cousin, Mr. Clooney. He always did a great job playing a villain, especially in the original "Robocop" movie.

I was very sorry to hear of Miguel Ferrer's passing. It's been noticeable over the last few months that something was wrong...I was hoping he was recovering from a health issue.

My condolences to his family

Some are much, much sadder than others and this one ranks as one of the saddest -- when you think about it, who DIDN'T love her? What a loss.

I didn't particularly. Never a big fan of the Dick VanDyke Show or MTM show.

So sad to hear of her death! I watched all her shows and loved what she brought to our livingrooms. just the other day i was reminded of her and wondered what she was doing these days. I guess she has been ill for a while. Maybe her diabetes caught up to her?

Good ol' Mannix - never missed an episode!

Interesting fact: During the 1970-1971 season, when The Mary Tyler Moore show debuted on Saturday nights at 9:30 on CBS, the show that immediately followed it at 10:00 was Mannix. And now Mannix has died one day immediately after Mary. Spooky!

We were big time Mannix watchers growing up. It might have been my parent's favorite show because they would make popcorn to watch!

I was living in a canyon for all of the seventies and our tv reception was not so great. At some point someone put a boostered antenna at the top of the road going over Modjeska Grade and for $8 a month we could get reception.

But still we had a 17" BW tv, I was 35 miles each way to work and worked a lot and was also active in dog shows and the lab club.

So anyway, I missed most of these shows.

Of course I know who MTM was but didn't watch her shows.

Oh no, not Mike Conners of Mannix.

I have not gotten over James Garner of Rockford Files being gone.

I'm just hoping that Willie Nelson kicks whatever cold or worse that made him cancel concerts at age 85. I want him to go on forever..
